One of the best libraries in Washington State. It has a room full of very affordable second hand books for sale managed by Friends of the Libraries. There are some free books and magazines as well. Also, there is a a shelf of canned goods for th3 needy displayed right before the inner entrance. The restrooms are clean. The whole library area is super clean and has the comfortable, warmth ambience. All the personnel are pleasant and helpful.

Seemed like a very nice library with many community services. I came in for the passport service. They were very helpful and were able to fit us in before other local places. Thank you!

The building is gorgeous, and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. When I say their selection is wide, I mean W I D E. Need a book or audiobook? Of course they have it they're a library. You can get it digitally or physically. What about music a movie? They have those too, and also videogames!! Need a puzzle or a STEM kit to strengthen young minds? They've got it! Their vast collection and their broad selection of activities and programs make this my favorite place to go in Anacortes. It's beautiful and tranquil, and I always feel my best when surrounded by books.

Very friendly staff their some of the nicest librarians I've met great selection of books and movies their always updating their program daily also great security on the movie boxes

Excellent facility, wonderful staff. Lisa in the children’s section is always helpful. I requested a book that has long been out of print not expecting much and to my astonishment they had it for me in a week.

Clean, well lit, lots of power stations, 2 hour meeting rooms available without a card, clean restrooms... oh,and there're books ;-)
