Pros: They did help my child with a sensory eating disorder stabilize her weight with emotional force of making her eat 6 times a day via her fear of getting a refusal form. It is a very nice facility that feels more like a home than some cold institute. They did help my daughter do some self evaluation of her ED. Cons: This facility, in an effort to save money, allows therapists in training to earn hours towards accreditation. This means the primary & family therapists are very young & inexperienced. It showed. They do not actually offer treatment for ARFID, they will simply lump your child in with the anorexia/bulimic programming. This can be damaging because ARFID needs small & steady exposures, not forced large feedings. They have new fear foods due to this. There is a huge communication break down between staffing departments which leads to confusion for the kids/parents. High critical staff turn over rate that causes even further communication break down. Without insurance it's $80,000 a month for this facility. Many children were sent home due to insurance dropping coverage during my daughter's 2 month stay (we have very good insurance). They become defensive when parents are not willing to completely bend to their ways/ideas about your child's needs while also reminding you you signed a "co-parenting" contract & passive aggressively threaten to kick your kid out if you advocate for your child. Their unwilling to replace defective equipment, namely the landline kids are allowed to call on nightly often is non functional & caused a great deal of stress for me/my daughter when we couldn't hear each other. They were utterly unwilling to learn anything about my childs neurodiversity, including one therapist making an incredibly insulting comment of "you don't act like other xyz people I've met, I don't think you have that." They do not address bullying & our child's recovery slowed because of unchecked harassment by an older girl. It continued into the virtual programming to the point that both of my child's graduations we're ruined by the bully. They're agressive about having a "support team" in place before your child graduates, yet only provide a basic list of unqualified for ED individuals that they obtain through your insurance provider. Defensive if you as a parent have any knowledge about nutrition. The last therapist we had before graduation from IOP COMPLETELY undermined our parental rights & tried to tell our daughter to enroll in public school without our consent EVEN THOUGH public school is a HUGE stress trigger for our child & we had openly talked with the therapist MANY TIMES about her not being ready to attend yet. Our daughter was so upset by the constant push from this therapist to go behind our backs she told us about it. They are hyper focused on PC notions to the point of enforcing body dysmorphia in your girls versus helping them feel safe being a girl. Seems counter intuitive when most girls are there due to unchecked body dysmorphia... Lastly they teach kids they will never not have an eating disorder & the entire system is built on one random ladies racket that has been highly criticized by the actual disordered eating scientific community. We didn't find out about this until halfway through our daughters stay. I'm grateful for the help in stabilizing my child's weight but all in all if needed, will seek help elsewhere in the future.

traumatizing. If you want to go somewhere just to learn others Ed habits, and leave worse than before come here! You may be ignored, hurt, and belittled if that's you're thing. This facility isn't healing it's hurting. - that one kid who stoped another patient from jumping off the 2nd story rooftop.

My therapist really did not know the difference between my eating disorder and my ADHD, and so I felt like everything was trying to train the ADHD out of me along with treating my ED. Because of this, I relapsed as soon as I left treatment. They were supposed to send me follow ups, but they did not. I ended up needing to help myself because my eating disorder got out of hand after treatment. I was able to self recover after 1 1/2 years of struggling following residential. I am doing so well now, and that is more thanks to myself and my own effort (and my amazing outpatient dietitian) rather than any work that I did here. Yes, Clementine is much better than many other treatment orgs, and my milieu was lovely and left me with lasting friendships, but this was not a great fit for me and did not give me the special help that me and my neurodivergence required. I really just went because my doctor wanted me to go. I was making progress with my parents at home when a bed opened up. I think my eating disorder would have lasted a lot less time if I had just stayed at home. Clementine just made me hate recovery and it took me a while to relearn that recovery is actually THE BEST THING EVER. I am so happy w where I am now, no thanks to Clementine. There was a super cool RC tho, who is now a therapist I think. Shoutout to "Martin".

I came to Clementine twice. Both times for 3 months. I have been to multiple other places and this one is the ONLY place I would recommend to the people I love. They treated me with patience, love, and a judge free place to heal. I was always respected and felt safe. The clients are my life long friends and created such a loving environment.Thank you for being the reason I choose recovery. I wouldn’t be here without you guys. Truly.

Traumatic experience since the admission process. It is long , 2 or 3 months, and inefficient. Actually, Monte Nido wanted to send my child to California even though my insurance is not covered in California state. $ 2700 daily treatment. Yes, it would be a problem for us financially. Several medical errors. I have everything from their portal documented. Even though they deleted from their portal. My child told me the nurse tried to draw blood with a wrong size syringe. Blood everywhere. No nursing report. Then, she tried again . Well, more blood everywhere As mentioned previously in other reviews, there is no communication with parents. Your opinion about your child treatment does not matter. Even when you bring recommendations from a pediatrician, dietitian. They will go against what you want for your child. Most medical providers are very inexperienced nurses, Dietitian, They are just starting their careers. Couselor said my child doesn't relate to others in a normal way. Be prepared to be judged. As mentioned in other reviews, they do not work together with parents. They go against pediatrician, other dietitians, and NP from another facility. Even if you ask to sign a paper to be responsible. NOPE. Their way is the only way. Search online their credentials, and you will see new graduates most of them. Also, make sure to read what is in their portal. Their daily report is very general. Vital signs and eat or did not eat. Basically, this is their daily report. Supposedly to be daily . Sometimes, I did not get it either. My child has OCD a lot of other kids with OCD. She got worse from her OCD. Some kids struggling from drugs withdraw. Toxic environment according to my child. My child was put in water restriction in Clementine. She got constipated. Clementine never told me about water restriction. My child was drinking water from the bathroom sink. The clinical director is very effective in convincing her program, which has quality care and safety elements. I pulled out my child from this program. 100% sure best decision. Only regret I did not do it earlier. Clementine does not have individualized treatment like they say on their website. I felt most weight gain. It is their goal. Be prepared to agree with obese BMI, which is ok. It is ok to go from one problem anorexia low weight to obesity. I would go from one problem to another problem. This facility is going to say clients are first priority, and they take this seriously. They will ask to email them. Nope. I'm not emailing Clementine anymore.

Clementine is a brilliant facility - in my three months there I developed relationships with my peers that touched me deeper than any friendship I’d ever had prior. My experience brought me more joy and insight than I had ever expected, especially considering my past experience with residential treatment. I got exactly the support I needed and drew inspiration from supporting others. If you or your loved one struggles with an eating disorder, I highly recommend Clementine. It is relaxed and inviting, and promotes accountability and self sustained recovery. Come here if you want to recover, and definitely come here if you aren’t yet convinced of the benefits of recovery. We all are strong and the fight is worth it.

Easily the best mental health program in Oregon! Their not just incredible with helping you start your path to recovery for an eating disorder their also great at helping with additional mental disorder that you may suffer with. I highly recommend this place to anyone suffering with an eating disorder! VERY warm and welcoming, I developed many great friendships with clients and the staff are the sweetest staff I’ve ever met! This place saved my life, I was here for 5 months since I was really deep in my ED and they never gave up on me unlike other places. We need more places like this one!

This residential is the best place I've been to during my recovery. Every person's recovery is different and customizable. They've helped me so much and most of the staff members are nice. The other clients cause a lot of trauma and this residential is not equipped for it. If you want to recover but don't mind experiencing more trauma, then attend this residential.
