Jon is such a sweet man who took the time to help me decide which machine and which method (long arm or sit down) I may wish to invest in. Of all people I’ve been talking to on my travels during my research in machines, I enjoy his personality the most and his knowledge about machines.

Living in a very rural area by the Canadian Border, I didn't think it would be a problem to order a sewing machine by mail order. My Bernette B79 arrived and I couldn't have been more thrilled until I couldn't get it to function properly no matter what I did. I couldn't take it to the dealer from where I purchased the machine because they were 3,000 miles away; they weren't helpful on the phone, telling me to purchase new bobbins and they didn't respond to email. I phoned Jon's which is 2+ hours away from our home and scheduled a service appointment In a short time, Jon adjusted the timing, which apparently had never been adjusted when it left the vendor, and voila it works! Jon's is a beautiful store and if ever in the market for a new machine or supplies related to my current machine, I would definitely make the trip to purchase the machine from him.

Brought in a dead sewing machine from the 1960's. Jon resurrected it - better than it ever was, for a great price. And he's a pleasure to work with. In these days of corporate giants where every transaction is corralled under a restricted process, I didn't expect this could be fixed. It's uplifting to see that old-fashioned flexibility, integrity, skill, experience, and respect can still thrive as the foundation for a business.

My snowmobile trailer broke down, I got off the thruway and ended up at Jon's Sewing Machines. The gentleman at the shop went above and beyond to help me out. I cant say enough. If your considering buying a sewing machine or vacuum here I would definitely recommend it. The store is very neatly organized with alot of products, your treated like family there, and It seems like they have high quality products.

This is a quilt shop with a huge selection of machines and a small selection of fabrics. Staff was friendly. Prices were fair. L

Working on a project with my granddaughter two weeks before Christmas my old machine stopped dead. Hasn't been serviced in years. Called Jon, he said it would be two weeks. Brought him the machine. He called with an estimate and to get authorization. My machine was fixed in time to finish our project and my old machine runs like new. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommend without reservation.

Jon and Janelle are kind, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I bought a Bernina sewing machine, a serger, and an embroidery machine from them, and have taken half a dozen free classes that were wonderfully helpful. I am going back for a couple of refresher classes, FREE! It's a bit far from my home (45 minutes) but well worth the trip. I look for reasons to drive over (Oooh, I need the new, bigger bobbins for my sewing machine; ooh, I need to use my coupons!) Lovely fabric selection. All in all, you couldn't ask for better service or nicer people. I'm going back in two weeks for a class. What fun!
