What a beautiful setting. Such a family oriented facility. Awesome pool. Just perfect for kids. Easy and beautiful walk to the beach. The deck is stunning and comfortable, you could live out there. Gorgeous kitchen, and bedrooms. Such nice bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing missing is an ocean view. (That’s why the four star)

The Villas at Poipu Kai are stunning and were perfect for our group. The grounds are immaculate. Its a fantastic location with a short walk to Brennecke’s beach, Poipu beach, or shipwreck beach. This is especially awesome after dark when we went back after dark to see the sleeping turtles on the beach. A favorite memory for everyone was grilling poolside and soaking in the hot tub. This was my second stay here and I’ll definitely be back. I loved that there was a full kitchen, multiple lanais, and ocean views. I can’t think of anything that could’ve improved our stay. I’ve already recommended it to my friends and I’ve started dreaming of my next stay.

The villas at Poipu Kai were so wonderful! The villa was clean, had everything we needed, the pool/hot tub were amazing, and it was only a short walk or drive to the beach. There were a ton of amazing things to do in the area. Our group had a blast.

We rented E300 with 4 good sized bedroom; 3 with full bathrooms. The rest of our family was in a separate 3 bedroom condo in a separate building. The common areas are large and nicely appointed with dark wood and comfortable furniture. Each unit had a large lanai with entrance from the living room. The lanai extends the common area. The grounds are lovely.

Easily the fanciest place I have stayed. Third floor room and elevator opens into our room. Space for seven we were not in each others space. Two lanais, one with a great elevate sofa for views of the water. Pool was great. Short walk to Poipu beach and Puka Dog! We are coming back!

Other than not enough silverware and a dishwasher that needs it's filter changed, it was a wonderful place. Would go back in a second.

The unit and area of Poipu were great. We ran into a few mechanical issues and while the maintenance support tried their best, it absolutely fell short of our expectations. On night 2 of our stay, hot water heater stopped working. I tried basic troubleshooting with the "on-site" maintenance staff, however, we were unable to fix, and it meant 5 of us all had to take cold showers. It was resolved the next day. The more concerning issue was about A/C in the master bedroom. It was a problem from the first day, worked intermittently, and ultimately our only choice was a portable unit that prevented windows from being closed, thus we got up with the sun. I've traveled for 3 decades and understand stuff happens. The resort management did not work the weekend or Monday holiday, was very dismissive of our experience on Tuesday, when they contacted me (when we were already checked out). No offer of a discount of any sort nor they didn't even offer a sincere apology (I asked for at least a phone call - which they didn't even make to me). Horrible customer service. While the unit is very nice, if you're concerned if anything goes wrong there's no focus on the customer - I'd look elsewhere.

The weather was perfect and the fact that I was within walking distance to multiple beaches was a perk. The home is so spacious and clean. I really loved the open layout. What really had me feeling comfortable is the cancelation policies through Private Vacations. They only required a $100 deposit from me to secure my reservation and it was cancelable and fully refundable up to 30 days prior to my check-in date. It really made traveling less stressful just knowing that if something happened that prevented me from traveling I would have multiple options to move forward.
