👍👍 Such a cute little place! There are so many book choices and plenty of classics- it felt like I was in a little wonderland! The workers were friendly and helped us find the books we were looking for with ease and provided book suggestions as well. If you’re looking for a historical old book, a note... Such a cute little place! There are so many book choices and plenty of classics- it felt like I was in a little wonderland! The workers were friendly and helped us find the books we were looking for with ease and provided book suggestions as well. If you’re looking for a historical old book, a noteworthy classic, or a new book from local authors, this is the place to come! In the future it would be cool to have a little nook/reading area to read here and get lost in a book in this little shop’s historical and ambient environment. So happy I found this neat little place and will definitely be coming back!

It's a delight to visit Joe and Sarah's bookstore Pretty Good Books in Ashtabula. They have a huge inventory of books, stretching back in time from decades ago to what's current now, for all ages and for all interests. And they care about indie authors too. Great conversation and great browsing. Check out their store!

A very nice place. I love how they have it laid out. Easily accessible and a nice assortment of books. The owners were very nice and fun to talk to. Very old building with nice architecture and features to enjoy. Lots of close parking. They opened at noon on a Sat. I went for a book signing event for Linda Porcello.

Stopped on a whim while in town. One of the best bookstores I’ve ever been to! Nice people, too. I would absolutely come back to browse around. There’s something for everyone at a place like this.

I bought some absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced antique books online from this shop. The books were rare and extremely important to me as they were for my Wife's Christmas present. The customer service from this shop is unsurpassed. I contacted them and discussed the possibility of purchasing the books. From that point onwards Joe was super-responsive polite, kind, thoughtful, and did everything possible to ensure I received the books in fine condition. Now my wife has received them and is delighted. They were packed with the utmost care and protection to ensure a safe journey. The customer service and genuine interest found at this shop is something truly special. In the days of online shopping and Amazon anonymity, this shop provides the real human touch and the absolute quality of a discerning book seller.

Super cute bookstore with a great selection of new, used, and indie books. We attended a book signing event for a local author. It was very well done and we had a great time!

My son and I stumbled upon this delightful shop yesterday. It was our first visit but it definitely won’t be our last. The owners are true bibliophiles who are more than willing to help. (Sarah brought me an entire box of books by my favorite vintage author!) We can’t stop talking about Pretty Good Books because it is actually Amazingly Wonderful Books.
