Acoustic music night at the peace gardens was great. Over a dozen musicians. A food truck would have been nice.

A nifty place to visit however would probably be better in the spring or summer. Many botanical gardens connected with a theme of showing you about the world. Lots of benches to rest although the park is not too large connected to the Jordan River trail so you can detour out and explore as well.

This Memorial Park is a great reminder of remembering those who dedicated their lives and served. It's got lots of green grassy area to roam and explore, 3 separate playground areas, picnic table areas, a tennis court, baseball field, memorial pond and fountain, it sits adjacent to the library, city hall, court house and rec center. The space is well maintained, very clean and up kept, with several open bathrooms on-site. It does tens to get busy at times, this park does offer some good shade trees and extra table seating.

That being said, I like how lit up this area is. The skate park is fun to see being used. I never felt unsafe here. The west side of the Jordan River trail had some, unhoused individuals, in tents. Didn't bother me at all. Just avoid the west side of the bridge if you prefer. The park gate says it closes at 11pm. I've only stayed till 9pm, so I can't confirm that. Please take the time to go to this park and walk around. Enjoy the Gardens.

This is one of my favorite urban parks. A true wetlands preserve with beavers, deer and birding in the middle of an urban center. Reminds my of the Rock Creek Park in Washington DC. The park is fantastic for running, cycling, fishing and kayak/canoeing in select areas. I look forward to coming here every week

I always love going here. You have so many options. Right now with the pandemic the play grounds are closed but this really is the perfect place for any activities. They did recently remove the baseball diamond. Although they do feature the International Peace Gardens which I recommend to anyone, if you haven't gone you're missing out. This park also has a skate park and tons of shaded areas to just sit and relax and have a nice picnic. You can also take a long or short bike ride around the park or float on the water in a small canoe. It truly is a serene place. Peace and serenity. This is also a great place to people watch if you find that interesting. Perfect for some quiet time. Go enjoy the outdoors, you won't be disappointed.

We come here for the dog park, a medium-sized, fully fenced, off-leash area that tends to be well populated with dogs of all ages and sizes. Our dog absolutely loves it. There is also a skate park and plenty of open space; we often see people playing soccer or having picnics. There are some trees and a fair amount of shade on the NE side of the park. The park connects to a wetland preserve (no dogs allowed) and the Jordan River Trail to the west, both of which are perfect for a leisurely stroll. People also run along the trail.

We went to the laser show in lu of the fireworks for independence day. It was a bit disappointing. There was only one song that was even patriotic. We have seen outstanding laser shows in Cincinnati and in Washington DC. Laser shows can be incredible and breath taking. Me and my kids hit the skatepark like we do every Sunday morning. This park setup wasn't bad for us amateurs.. we mostly kisy ride around and try little things! Definitely my 3rd favorite in the salt lake area!

The park itself is nothing too spectacular. That said, the Cultural Gardens are amazing beautiful. It was very pleasant walking around them, and getting to see various cultures environments, and the miniature representations of each country represented. Some of the artwork sadly was defaced (shame on anyone who would do that really, that is just sikening) but the environment was still beautiful.

The bike polo courts are great play hockey with friends here regularly then play softball after. The softball field is decent but have never played league or tournaments; don't know about it's manicured quality. There's an awesome skate park made in a old swimming pool!!!! And the international peace garden is a must visit.

All of Jordan Park is lovely, but a special shout out to the playground in the north east corner of the park next to 900 west. It’s possibly the best climbing playground I’ve ever been to - my kid never gets bored of it, and it’s great for sensory seeking kids who need that challenging input. A gem of a park overall.

This review is for the dog park. The dog park itself is nice, but the people there rarely know how to control their poorly socialized dogs. I've been around this park for over 2 years and it's always a gamble what you're getting yourself into, and the odds are typically not in your favor especially if you have a more submissive dog. It's easy to find this dog park empty during the odd hours of the day.
