It might had been a beautiful campground at one point. It is now half deserted. The guy at the registration desk is far from being welcoming. He was simply rude! We stayed because it was paid through the internet reservation system, otherwise we would have left. That being said, we were comfortable, the site is quiet. No pool, no showers, bare minimum. We do not plan to go back.

We were excited when we first got there because it was roomy and we were pretty much the only ones there. Like the peace and quiet and privacy. However for the two weeks that we stayed there we were unable to go outside and enjoy ourselves due to massive amount of mosquitoes and other biting insects. It was completely infested with earwig bugs that infested my RV. We paid for 2 weeks and we stayed the full 2 weeks. The day after we left we noticed that there was a $100 extra charge to my credit card. I called and left a message and I called many times throughout the day and hopes that they would answer because they would not return my phone call. I'm not going to say much about the owners being rude they are old school but definitely they are set in their ways. I will not be back!

I should have read the reviews before I make a reservation here. The owner is extremely rude. There was no buddy in the campground when we there, should have been my first clue. We tried to stay and extra night to avoid hurricane Henri. He swore at me said I was speeding all over the place and not obeying his 5 MPH speed limit. It's impossible not to with the speed bumps he has all over the place. We happy went a mile down the road to an RV Resort. DO NOT STAY HERE! I'll also echo the other comments on low voltage. It really drops when any major load is turned on in the RV.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The man is so incredibly rude. He started screaming at me as soon as I said why I was calling. He then proceeded to call me stupid because I had to cancel a reservation and requested a refund. He hung up on me and when I called back he continued to scream at me and refused to listen to anything I had to say. He treats people horribly. My best advice stay away.

I can only say it wasn't the best experience in camping. The campground was probably nice many years ago, but it hasn't been kept up. They had a pool and bathrooms but the toilets in the bathrooms looked like they had rust in them and everything just looked old!! The whole place looked rundown, even the owner!! He was on the grumpy side and told us that we couldn't use our ACs because we only paid $40 a night and the rates went up the day after I booked and he would know cause he'd look at our meter! I took a picture of the meter just in case and we never used the AC!! We never saw anyone there, the office was always closed!! There was 1 other camper near us where we did see people, but not another soul seemed to be staying there while we were. I didn't do my homework when looking for a campground in this area or I would have seen the recent bad reviews in Google!! There are other campgrounds in the area if you are looking to stay near Plattsburgh!!

Super nice man had a Shady place all to ourselves. Hey I thought he was a super nice man until he called me a b****raise the price on us for the second week we never had a picnic table and I think he wanted our spot for somebody else so because we got to picnic table today before we left. The pool was not working. The voltage was low so our air conditioner had trouble running.

A lovely clean rustic RV park really close to Plattsburgh Beach. Our lot is filled with tiny strawberry plants and little flowering plants, very nice! The shady spots are cool and breezy. Very quiet , nice play area for the children. Pets permitted on leash.

Not much to say we stayed 3 nights. Bare minimum of a camp ground no showers pool was closed and the play ground is falling apart. Not kept up well. We were the only ones there. If your looking for a quiet place to stay this is it. Would have left if I hadn’t paid through their reservation site. Kids will be quit bored.

About the worse campground I've been to in the last 30 years. The showers are grungy, the bathroom sink is missing water. The owner/ manager is a very grumpy old man. Do NOT RECOMMEND.

It could of been a nice place if it wasn't for the rude and vulgar language of the owner. He's a very unhappy person.
