We
needed
a
vacation
desperately
but
have
a
puppy
that
does
not
do
well
in
boarding.
So
my
solution
was
to
find
somewhere
we
could
bring
him.
The
Inn
is
very
pretty
and
Matt,
the
innkeeper
we
met,
was
extremely
nice
and
accommodating.
I
was
actually
pretty
impressed
with
how
dog-friendly
the
place
is.
Off
leash
is
allowed
in
most
areas,
though
I
highly
recommend
just
having
a
long
lead
in
case
your
dog
spots
a
deer
(ours
did
and
disappeared
into
the
woods
for
a
scary
4
minutes).
Also
this
goes
without
saying
but
your
dog
must
be
good
with
other
dogs
and
strangers
because
we
met
a
lot
of
folks,
all
of
whom
struck
up
conversations
with
us
which
was
a
nice
change
from
our
norm.
Our
dog
is
very
playful
and
made
many
doggy
friends.
I
really
love
that
breakfast
and
lunch
are
provided
and
there's
an
option
to
have
breakfast
delivered
to
your
room
in
the
mornings.
I
was
impressed
with
the
toiletries
supplied
-
bath
oils,
makeup
remover
wipes,
feminine
hygiene
disposal
bags,
cotton
balls,
I'm
forgetting
some
things,
but
clearly
someone
was
very
thoughtful.
The
room
(we
reserved
"dogwood")
was
fine,
the
balcony
was
very
nice,
the
shower
had
two
shower
heads
which
I
didn't
know
I
needed,
and
it
was
overall
quite
cozy
but
a
little
dated.
You
must
try
the
French
toast
(made
with
challah
bread),
and
you
must
take
advantage
of
the
fire
pit
maintained
at
night,
it's
very
nice
to
sit
by
the
fire
and
listen
to
nature.
For
dinner
we
went
to
the
tavern
that's
close
by
which
I
recommend
if
you
like
theater.
overall
a
lovely
vacation
for
those
looking
to
get
away
from
it
all
and
be
in
nature.
