We did not stay at the lodge, but now plan to in the near future. We went for Sunday brunch, and enjoyed it immensely. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. The grounds are beautiful, and the owner was very personable and hands on, working right along side of his staff. Very impressed and looking forward to returning soon.

Didnt stay but had dinner here. It was fantastic! They have set menus for dinner which honestly is the best. They use fresh in season food. So each time you go you can try something different. Everything was cooked to perfection!

We booked a one-nighter to stay during our bike trip. Although our reservation was canceled accidentally and the place was booked for a private event, the management went out of their way to accommodate us, put us up for the night, and even got us some amazing food so we don't go hungry! The food was excellent, the room was well accommodated, very clean and the staff members were all very friendly and everyone helped make our stay incredible. Of course, the place is BEAUTIFUL!!

This resort is top notch! We escaped the city hustle and bustle and the humidity! We spent our nights on the porch looking at the stars. We saw: deer, turkey and even a bear! Skeet shooting and fishing were great. Book your trip and be ready to escape!!! Check dates carefully - this resort is so remote, they are not open year round.

We love this place for dinner, don't know about the overnight lodging. Such a beautiful setting. The food was fantastic, everyone loved their dishes; prime rib, salmon, pork chops and elk. Wait staff was great!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Plus the French fries are super gooder.

Our family had a wonderful time at Elk Mountain Resort! We brought our kids down in the evening for a nice dinner, then my husband and I stayed the night. The entire lodge was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and the kids enjoyed the carriage ride while we stayed warm with cocktails. Dinner is fun and unique. $40 per person for a four course meal, including appetizers, main dish, side, and dessert. By the way, the mock tails are just as good as the cocktails. The room was very comfortable with a nice king bed. We enjoyed the soaking tub with provided bath salts as well. Brunch was just as good as dinner, with homemade hearty breakfast plates. This is truly a winter wonderland! They are closing for the rest of the winter on Jan 4, so if you are thinking about trying this place, it’s well worth the drive! They do a good job plowing the roads but bring your 4WD vehicle and be safe.
