I called the Sandstone Care mental health department in Rockville, Maryland. I spoke with Krissy C., admissions coordinator. She was not able to help me because of my health insurance, but she so kindly offered to send via e-mail some other mental health resources and hospital that would take my insurance. When I read my e-mail I was overwelmed by the list of facilities she sent me. 10 whole pages from 2 different sites. I have to tell you finding placement for mental health is a full time job. The list she sent me is invaluable to me. I have spent so much time looking for mental health facility's, I can't tell you. This has the facility, what they treat, address, and phone numbers. I could of never found some of these hospitals and mental health facilities on my own. Thank your Krissy from the bottom of my heart.

Giselle at Sandstone was extremely helpful and compassionate. Though, they were not a fit for my needs, she was willing to assist. From the moment I submitted an online inquiry until the time we parted ways, it was above 5 stars. Great service and responsiveness

Turns out this wasn't the right facility for me based on personal needs, but the person that called me back was so helpful. Without ever stepping foot in this facility i was impressed by their care and personal attention. Again, i don't have first-hand experience here, but based on my brief exchange with one of the counselors i believe this is a place i would trust.

I’ve been to a few out patient programs before, this is by far the most organized program I’ve taken part in. My mental health is a worlds difference better than it was before I started the program. All of the one on one and small group therapy has been so beneficial! So grateful for Sandstone and their amazing employees! If you’re looking for a program try this one out!

My Nurse Practitioner, in Colorado Springs, CO was amazing! The NP took a lot of time to understand me and talked deeply about my habits and how I could step down from my actions. Understand that you have to do the work but I can see that if I put in a little help and caring for myself I will be free from my disease.
