Since Joel has taken over SunnyBrook , it has been a source of nonstop fun and laughter! My friends and I have been to line dancing, comedy shows and adult proms. Sunnybrook is like an adult Disneyland or a cruise ship in land. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Me and my wife love coming to Soul Joel’s as much as we can! They offer so much entertainment for all different ages and kinds of people. There is literally something for everyone and also they are very reasonably priced with all their events. That makes it for a cheap and fun night out for us who can’t always afford to see the top comedy acts that are around. Joel is creating something very special and amazing for the community.

SoulJoel's is a place that welcomes everyone! You will never have a bad time or see a bad act. The list of fun is endless but not limited to comedy, free open mic nights, dancing, bingo, LOCAL community fundraisers, music, painting, pictures with Santa and the Easter Bunny (he even allowed dogs with Santa in ROFO❤️), many other kids characters and magic shows as well as now sit down Sally.... drag shows! Joel the owner is a genuine nice guy and faith filled family man who I am excited to see succeed. Please leave your closed mind at home if it is not your cup of tea! Now go laugh it up!

We've attended everything from HILARIOUS comedy shows, family-friendly events like magicians/character visits, to weekday bingo and drag brunch. Every single event has been a fun-filled experience that has kept us coming back again and again! It's incredible to have this kind of variety at a local business! Had the best time last night seeing David Lucas at Soul Joels! My friends and i traveled an hour & a half go come see him from NJ and the show was hilarious, we even got to meet him after the show. The venue was amazing! The pub before you walk into the comedy club is such an awesome bar. So many games to play, there was a DJ, food looked amazing too. Service was good for how packed it was with people trying to get drinks before the show. We met the owener walking into the show that was super nice. We told him how we came from far and how when we went out to eat before the show our two friends got sick and could no longer attend. He said how sorry he was that they could not come and will hold a future credit for us to use so the tickets didn’t go to waste. He really cares about his customers and making sure everyone was having a great time. I will for sure return and make the hour and a half drive again to see a future show, and will certainly make sure we go there early to eat & drink there. 10/10 would recommend !

We have been fans of Soul Joel’s since seeing Chris Gethard in the original spot in the dome in Royersford. Recently he hosted the OJR Jazz band playing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra in the Sunny Brook Ballroom. My son is is the jazz band and I can say the experience is honestly something the kids and Mr. Mengel will never forget. I am looking forward to attending many comedy, music, and drag shows in the future!

Great ballroom. The employees were super friendly. No security check. No masks, ever. Reasonably priced. Saw Jimmy Dore there and he knock the roof off the place. Easy, safe, free parking too.
