Beautiful spot to camp with your horses. Such a well maintained campground. It shows pride of ownership all the way through. Thoughtful details such as phone number for a local horse vet displayed on each barn.. they have hay and shavings for sale. Fire ring, picnic table at each rv site. Electric and water eat each pad. Clean camp bath house and everything beautifully decorated. Would come back in a heartbeat!

A couple of years ago we stayed at most of the horse campgrounds in the Custer area. This was our favorite for the following reasons: trail maps and trails well marked and the trails are lovely. Large covered stalls for the horses. They provide FREE golf carts to use to transport your tack to the stall areas. A good-sized round pen at each corner of the campground so you can turn out your horses for a short period or work in the arena if your horse needs a tune-up. They come around and pick up trash at your campsite. They are ten minutes from Custer, so it is easy to go into town to pick up groceries or eat at one of the diners. The staff works very hard to make your stay pleasant. There is a public pool in Custer that is only $5 per adult which is very nice.

We absolutely loved staying at Broken Arrow Campgrounds!!! Everything is clean and tidy. The people were friendly and kind. The owners take great pride in maintaining their property. The sunsets were spectacular!!! We will always visit again on our way out west.

I can honestly say I highly enjoyed this campground I stayed in one of the cabins with a friend and I absolutely adored the atmosphere of the camp. It has a very cozy and calming nature around the camp. it's far from the main highway. Not much car noise the road near by isn't busy. We spent memorial weekend here so I can't speak for the other camper noise the rest of the season. But everyone seems to be quite respectful and by 9pm it's quiet and blissful I will definitely be spending my trips to the black hills here. I don't often write reviews but this campsite is a must, may it be camping or spending a weekend in one of their cabins you won't regret your stay. A few aspects I enjoyed was there's no cable but they supply a robust selection of free movies to use during your stay. It really helped to really disconnect and reset. there are a few hiking trails behind the camp, and horse trails as well I don't own horses myself but from the look of it they keep a clean stable for our hooved friends as well! Victoria and her staff were fantastic! phenomenally friendly and accommodating They kept the camp in shape and looking well put together and organized and gave a welcoming warm atmosphere. I wasn't able to have a fire due to the rain but that just opens the door for next time. But I will for sure be coming back. If you like a simple getaway I would definitely recommend Broken arrow campground a must!

We have greatly enjoyed our camping experience at Broken Arrow. The owners and all of their staff make you feel very welcome and at home. They are very accommodating and helpful whenever needed. We definitely recommend anyone looking for a great campground in the Black Hills to come to Broken Arrow - nice campsites, cabins and motel rooms are available. Great views of the Hills.

Good place to camp unless you don't like horses. There are cabin rentals, they look nice but we didn't use them. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Super clean well cared for and very quiet. A great jump off point for Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, jewel cave national monument, Deadwood and many more iconic attractions.
