My husband and I stayed the night of our wedding and it was lovely! Every worker was so kind and accommodating. The bedroom (room 2) was cute and very comfortable and the bathroom was even better with a huge clawfoot tub. We couldn’t stay for breakfast the next morning, but Monique offered us to come back and enjoy breakfast the next day. We did and it was delicious - a foodie paradise. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I cannot wait to come back for our anniversary.

Amazing stay in a beautiful Victorian in a beautiful little city. We already can't wait to go back! Next time we'll stay 2 nights instead of 1. The owner is fabulous and the hospitality.... Well let's just say we were greeted with a fresh batch of snickerdoodles upon arrival. The 3 course breakfast was amazing. Can't go wrong! We stayed in the room with an en suite bathroom. Other rooms have a shared bath. Either way, getting to stay in this house is delightful. So many details, from the peacock themed dining room to the intricate wallpaper and ornate furniture - it's really a treat. Bonus that it's within easy walking distance of downtown Frederick. A true gem.

We found this amazing place on a whim. Luckily someone had cancelled there reservation and in less than 24 hours we arrived. It’s not easy to plan far in advance with 3 kids under the age 5. This place made everything so worth it. We booked our reservation with the owner Monique. She was detail oriented and nice to talk with. Chris welcomed us with wine and warm cookies. Breakfast was superb. We stayed in The Turret room. The house was beautiful and our room smelled really good. The room necessities were a bonus. The robe material was heavy and warm. Close proximity to downtown. We walked to Magoo’s for dinner. We look forward to visiting again and thank you for welcoming us.

10 Clarke mixes old world charm and modern amenities. We were graciously greeted by Christopher who introduced us to what the property had to offer. Next we were treated to iced tea, red or white wine and freshly baked cookies in the parlor where we chatted with another guest. Our room, Poet’s suite was spacious and clean. The linens were good quality and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer were provided. 10 Clarke is nicely situated and we walked downtown to stroll around the Carroll Creek area. Later in the evening we walked to dinner at one of the many fine restaurants Frederick has to offer. After returning from dinner, we noticed the party lights in the back yard. It is a spacious area with patio table and chairs and multiple seating areas that are perfect for fair weather enjoyment among the trees and plantings The next morning we met Rachael, the property manager and hostess, who presented a wonderful breakfast of her nicely prepared house specialty items. The food exceeded all expectations and was complimented by her gracious and warm manner. Breakfast was served in the formal dining room with lovely table settings. 10 Clarke checks all the boxes and is a place to visit and return to. We plan to return and bring friends.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night & it was absolutely incredible. Our room was cozy and even had a double sided heated mattress. For breakfast we had a 3 course meal that we raved about for 3 days after lol. The bathroom assigned was my favorite part. The tub was relaxing and made us feel like we were in a spa! We will definitely be staying here again! :)

Monique has created something truly extraordinary. We booked on a whim as a last-minute getaway to a town we had never visited and are already planning our return. The house is lovely and all the rooms feel very private. The breakfast was exquisite. And the other guests we had a chance to briefly meet were delightful.

Our stay at 10 Clarke was wonderful. My wife and I decided to do a staycation for our one-year anniversary and decided to stay at 10 Clarke. Upon booking our room I was sent a text message by Christopher confirming our arrival time. After arriving, Christopher greeted us and gave us a tour of the building which was beautiful and well-decorated. He then showed us to our room, the Turret Room. The room was well-decorated and the bed was comfortable. Like the rest of the home, the decor was impeccable and there were many things to marvel at. After dropping off our bags we went downstairs and were presented with cookies, which were delicious, and wine. We then went out for the night and walked around the water in downtown Frederick. The next morning we were served a three-course breakfast which was again, amazing. Breakfast was served to us by Rachel who, just like Christopher, was warm and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about this experience and look forward to staying here again.

10 Clark is a wonderful escape from our tech-driven world. The vintage decor, paired with modern amenities, blends simplicity of the past with the convenience of the future. The food was exceptional, and the beautiful decor created a welcoming atmosphere. Christopher and Monique were fantastic hosts, showing genuine care and hospitality. The bed and breakfast's location is ideal, within walking distance of Frederick's vibrant city center.

The moment we walked through the door we knew we were in for a magical experience. Monique greeted us with a smile and a glass of wine. We were absolutely in awe with her attention to detail, every room was stunning. In the morning we were treated to a 3-course breakfast by the lovely Rachel. The food was incredible. We’d give 6 stars if we could!

Monique, the owner and Christopher were great hosts. The B&B is a wonderful 1885 mansion tastefully decorated with period pieces. The breakfast was great as a three course meal. Will come back.

This place is an absolute dream place to stay. The common area is intracately and delicately designed, the rooms are immaculate with highly luxurious bathrooms equipped with hair care, facial care, overhead rain shower heads, heated floors, and marble sinks you CAN ONLY UNDERSTAND IN PERSON. However, what truly made this trip for me was Monique (and adorable Violet) and her staff. Monique was fixed on making sure I was getting the most of my stay. When you're booking, do not be afraid to call ahead and talk with Monique. Now, besides her dedication to all her guests, she makes the Most Delcious food with a culinary taste you likely have never experienced in America. During our conversation, she described the important aspects of flavor of each component of her dishes. I am a person with several dietary allergies and intolerances, and while I was treating myself to the foods I normally tend to avoid because of the health impact, the food kept me perfectly energized and comfortable completely! And that is not an easy accomplishment! AND JUST KNOW THAT IT IS SO DELICLIOUS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTROL YOURSELF WHILE EATING IT. If you want to stay in Frederick for a vacation that is closest to the best restaurants in the city, your ONLY choice is right here at 10 Clarke B&B. Thank you for such a lovely time!

From the moment I was greeted by Christopher, I felt welcomed; fire burning in the parlor, fresh cookies, wine available. Beautiful, eclectic, creative, inspired decor in an incredible house, well maintained and very clean. Bed and linens very comfortable, quiet room, well appointed. Breakfast was stunning and delicious. Monique is a gracious host who is so genuine and truly cares about her guests. Location very convenient for walking to quaint shops in downtown Frederick. Looking forward to returning soon for another stay! Highly recommended!

Where do I even begin?! This place was amazing! The Victorian theme, the decor, the authenticity of it..stunning! It was my boyfriends first time in an actual B&B and even he was impressed! Chris and Monique are so friendly as well as the other guests there. Breakfast served in the morning is out of this world..everything is used from local and organic ingredients or homemade recipes passed down. It was a great experience and we had the best weekend get away. So romantic and cozy..and such a perfect little town!

We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time! Our room was the ‘Poet’s Loft’ and was very well appointed, clean and so cozy! We truly felt relaxed throughout our stay and made to feel at home. Wine and freshly baked cookies every night. Hot, delicious breakfast every morning! The waffles and pancakes were SO good - all of the food was good, but those waffles!!! We loved checking out the unique furnishings and decor and we hope to be back again!

Where to start? The rooms were well appointed with many interesting and antique furnishings. Bathrooms were modern and included the usual amenities. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Kudos to chef Rachel and chef/owner Monique. Which brings us to the true highlight of this experience: BREAKFAST. The fluffiest cocoa waffles ever. All fresh and local ingredients. And, if you're fortunate enough to enjoy the hospitality a second day, the 3 course menu changes for a new taste treat. Highly recommended if you're in Frederick.

This is THE place to stay in Frederick. The house: eclectic, cozy, and beautifully ornamented with a century-old (tastefully historic) design and furniture. Amazing garden too. Host/Staff: The host, Monique, was wonderful, hospitable, and you can tell she put her heart and soul into this B&B and their services. We were also greeted by Christopher, who made us feel right at home, especially with delicious homemade cookies, iced tea, and sangria (all uniquely flavored and top notch). Breakfast: So good it could turn you into a morning person (speaking as a night owl). Monique and her chef put so much attention into crafting each dish, sourcing fresh and unique ingredients, and maintaining a healthy balanced meal. Not to mention, the tableware and Peacock Room’s aesthetic really adds to the dining experience. This was a perfect getaway for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary.

Great attention to detail in every room. We appreciated the nightly refreshments and fresh cookies. Breakfast was multi course and much care was out into the selection of ingredients. Great location in Frederick. Close enough to walk to all downtown locations but far enough to be in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic. If you like to stay in B&B's, I would recommend highly!

It was the highlight during our brief visit to Frederick. On the previous night we stayed at a regular hotel. Then we came here, Wow! It felt like home, a home way higher than my rank. The Bamboo room was so lovely and enjoyable. The bed and bathroom were super clean. The hosts were warm and very nice. The breakfast and services were great! I was super impressed.

My husband and I were traveling through Maryland for our honeymoon and decided to make this cute place our first stop. Do yourself a favor and stop here too. Monique the owner and Christopher were such wonderful hosts and were very kind and professional. They cooked the most delicious breakfast for us and made us feel like royalty. The house has a collected and vintage feel while still being very clean and cozy. We were able to walk to a nice dinner and see the neighborhood which was very fun! Also Violet the dog deserves 5 stars for being a sweetheart.
