First visit to Benedettos and it was a pleasant surprise. First off the wait staff and owners are top notch. Courteous, friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The cuisine is what I would classify as italian comfort food and there are quite a few places between st augustine and jacksonville that fill that void. Only casa benedettos I found to be one of the best. Items we tried included chicken francaise, ravioli with meat sauce, sausage & peppers, & chicken marsala. Let's not forget the fresh baked bread which was outstanding. To a person everyone enjoyed their homemade Italian dish that I would put up against any other Italian eatery. Plenty of parking in this strip center as well. Inside and outside dining. No liquor license so it's beer and wine only. This would be our new go to italian restaurant.

A delightful little restaurant! I discovered it as I ran to Winn Dixie for some apples. On a whim, I ordered carry-out and it was delicious. Great service. Wonderful bread, a taste of eggplant and butter to go with it, and an order of Grandma Betty's clam linguine with white sauce. I will definitely be back!

Everything was fantastic from the fresh bread and Italian dipping sauce to the perfect eggplant parmesan. My other half had the shrimp scampi and devoured every bite. Absolutely sensational . We will be back to try more wonderful things off the menu. Our service exceeded our expectations and she was informative and so kind . Can't wait to come back with room for desert ♥️♥️♥️

What a find! We came down from Jacksonville for the morning. My aunt says there’s no good Italian food in Jacksonville, so we decided to give Casa Benedetto a try. I could have made a meal out of the fresh-from-the-oven bread and garlic butter. Glad I did not. The meatball sub was tasty. The bread had a nice chew, the meatballs were tender and flavorful, just the right amount of sauce. This was a legit 12 inch sun, so be prepared. Enjoyed the talking, whistling birds through lunch.

Amazing local gem. Everything is made from scratch and the service was impeccable. Their marinara sauce was so good. Defintely a lick your plate restaurant!

This place was very good and was very lucky being seated right away. Bread and dipping sauce were very good. Ordered chicken parmesan and tortellini carbonara. The chicken was good despite being buried under the sauce and angel hair. The sauce was good and sweet. The tortellini dish was good and smoky. I wish the sauce was a bit thicker. The pasta fagioli and Caesar salad were very good. The soup my wife was very impressed with the depth of flavor and creaminess of it. Will be back for sure.

First visit, and oh what a gem! Sadly I did not get our servers name but he was amazing. Honestly the best service we've ever had. The food was delicious and so obviously home made. Great atmosphere It's a 30 minute drive but so worth it

Just moved to FL. First time here - take out. Entrees were delicious - but the Escarole & Beans Appetizer was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! We’ll be going there again & again! Happy in St Augustine!

I really like this restaurant. Last time my bf and I went there I got the shrimp scampi; it was divine! He got spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs had too much filler (breadcrumbs?) in them; they were pretty bad. Everything else was great, the salad, service. So I recommend the scampi.

Amazing taste. I have tasted dishes in Italy and this place is really close. Although it's a small place, it adds to the whole experience. The lunch portions may seems small but the pasta will fill you up. I had the fettuccine alfredo which was great on it's own but glad I added the shimp. Additionally, the imported bread is outstanding.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious authentic Italian meal here. The reviews were accurate. The bread was crusty and the caponata spread delicious. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom with spinach yummy. We enjoyed our Penne vodka and the shrimp scampi. We had to try one of the desserts since they are all made there. We chose the bread pudding and were not disappointed. It had a few chocolate chips and was so warm and scrumptious. The staff was so attentive. Our waitress ( don't know her name but she is of Chilean descent) was exceptional. We can't wait to return and try the eggplant Parmigiano which we heard was delicious too. The owners were very gracious and stopped by to ask if we were enjoying our meal. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant.

We vacationed in St. Augustine and made absolutely sure we ate here. My wife tries to find Chicken Francaise because she loves it and it's hard to find, even harder to find a good one. Well, she loved it, she was happy and so was I. I had the fettuccine alfredo and added shrimp, it tied for the best meal for me during our vacation. It's cozy inside and the African Gray bird whistling and talking was interesting and different.

First time here, we were going to Night of Lights and found this little gem❣️ very relaxing atmosphere, great service ( we didn't even mention we were on a time crunch) and the food that we ordered did not disappoint. Lasagna was very good my husband had a seafood dish that was the special and our granddaughter had the kids spaghetti and meatball. Each entree came with soup or salad and bread. We will be going back 😋

Food was amazing and so was the service! We started with rice balls as an appetizer. My husband had eggplant Parmesan and I had all of vodka with fettuccine instead of penne. The eggplant caponata they give you with the bread was incredible! Definitely a new go-to for us!

Incredible dinner and excellent attention. Those who serve us are older people, something that I loved, I felt that my uncles or grandparents were serving me, very warm and familiar.

Small place but organized. Lunch portions looks like kids portion, with a regular price. Everything is a little overpriced. Chicken parmegiana tasted ok, but the red sauce was just store bought. Alfredo missing salt but ok, portion of the pasta very small. For $11, plus $7 for a few pieces of chicken. Bread was ok.

Had a late lunch. First time dining this establishment. We've been putting it off for a while. My expectations were not high as I not have not had much Italian food from St. Augustine that I really wanted to go back for. The place is small and quaint. The food was really outstanding. Fresh bread and butter to start off. I had eggplant parmesan over penne pasta which was cooked perfectly al dente with plenty of sauce. My wife had a meatball sub that was money!!! Service was excellent, the waitress made us feel like we were regulars. Definitely want to go back and try a few more things and also find out if they have chef specials.

This amazing place will turn you Italian. First time here. Started with homemade Sangria. Red and White. Heavenly. Soup and salads made fresh. Chicken Francaise was out of this world. We will definitely be back. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you ever get the chance….go. You will not be disappointed.
