Great place to get a nice refreshment and snack within walking distance of Baldwin Beach! I tried their Mango and Strawberry Shave ice and it was very delicious! The owner is super chill and down to earth dude 🤙

Love the all natural / dairy free ingredients!! The owner - Thomas - is very passionate about shaved ice - you can tell because it’s so good! Highly recommend after lunch in Paia or drive to/ from road to Hana

What a hidden gem!! The serving sizes are great and the flavors and toppings are amazing. We definitely recommend getting the souvenir bowl and we’re not normally into doing things like that- it holds more shave ice, and it’s a pretty cool bowl and spoon set to take and reuse at home. The owner was so cool, friendly, and swift at making our bowl. Loved it!

Best shave ice I’ve had on the island! It’s so nice all the syrups are made from natural ingredients, it gives a completely different taste than average shave ice places. The toppings add a lot of flavour. 10/10 would recommend! Also the staff working there were super friendly!

Cool little place tucked back off the street under a canopy of trees. Highly recommended. Also splurge and get the Coconut bowl as a souvenir!

This place is a bit hard to find. We were in Paia and didn’t discover it until the second time we were there. It’s hidden behind a house. The location is quaint, and the service was excellent. It was a bit pricier than the other shave ice I had on Maui, but it includes coconut cream sauce, fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey. That’s on top of the natural fruit syrups. I saw they had blueberry, which I hadn’t seen yet, at least not with the natural flavors. I also asked about the calamansi flavor, which the server described as a cross between a lime and an orange. That was something new for me as well. The blueberry was very good, but the calamansi did overpower it. However, that citrus flavor was outstanding. I would highly recommend it, perhaps with another stronger flavor. Blueberry might pair well with something like coconut, which I didn’t have. If you’re in Paia and looking for a great dessert or a little snack, stop here. The only downside is the limited hours from noon until 5:00 or so. As a side note, we parked in the public parking lot on the southwest side of town and walked across the street to get here.

Waikomo Shave Ice serves delicious natural shaved ice, with the option to top with fresh fruit and coconut cream. It is absolutely delicious and refreshing! The seating area is clean, shaded, and peaceful. Highly recommend!!
