We went to visit the splash pad today and it was so refreshing for the kids. The benches for parents are set far enough apart and the kids are in a enclosed area with high visibility and very easy to monitor. Very clean and well kept. Great place to take the kiddos to cool off in the summer.

Great park especially during the spring and summer. It’s well maintained and good for walks. Great for the whole family.

I stopped in here for a walk while visiting Bristol and enjoy the nice weather. The park was well spaced out, pretty, and taking precautions for Covid. There was plenty of parking and overall a nice area.

This park is beautiful, my son and my dogs love everything about it except that there were no available bathrooms. We mainly go to hike and run the dogs, I want to note I am grateful to whomever left water bowls for the dogs at the dog park πŸ’“. Apparently, from what other's at the kids park said, the main bathrooms are only open when sports are going on and with Covid that means they are closed. Port-a-pottys have been there before too I guess but not any of the times we have been there which makes it hard to stay for longer than 30ish mins with my son.

This is my time of year to be "outdoors" and sightsee. I found this park and took advantage of it not being so crowded as it would be in warmer months. I walked along the water and sat relaxing by the gazebo. For me it was a perfect day.

terrible for mountain biking. at first you go into the park and i couldn't even see the trails. second you go up the road and out of the park and their is a sign saying biking trail, running, i went further up the road and tried to do Valhalla and it just a bunch of ruts in the ground not easy riding. the other trail goes up to the back and before you know it your right in the middle of the Frisbee golf course i had no idea where to go. next i hear some one saying heads up since he was about to throw the Frisbee at my head and the net was next to me. also i tried to follow the sign saying cross country , Frisbee golf trail that takes you to the railroad tracks and a bunch of sand. thankfully i could just ride the path around the pond and the road was fine that's your best choice

It's a nice place to take in some scenery, nature, and get some exercise. The park offers a lot; Frisbee golf, fishing, fitness stations and just nice quiet places to sit. The grounds are kept nice and it makes Bristol a good town to be in.

It's a gorgeous park with various things to enjoy! You can hike a long and peaceful trail. Sit by the pond, fish in the river, throw a bday party in the gazebo, take your children to the pretty big park with a cool water park for hot days. How about some baseball, soccer, football, basketball?! Theres a feild & a court..a couple in fact. Theres a community pool and skateboard park. Even a dog park. Just a very enjoyable state park. Go see for yourself. I know i left out plenty more activities! This has been the place to hang since i was 10 years old !! Make it yours!!

Enjoy the skatepark, splash pad, play area, basketball court, and the many other areas that are available for the family. It's a great place to enjoy the summer days and even take a walk in the winter.

I guess weekday parents don't get to use the water kind of funny

A favorite of mine!! Looking a bit run down in spots though. Lots of graffiti lately which is unfortunate. It is a beautiful park that wasn't here for everyones use and I'm sad to see that people treat it like this

This is the best parki have ever been to. There is so much to do, small hikes, baseball, swimming, frisbee golf (I don't know it was a thing it we started coming here) skate park, basketball, volleyball, splash pad, river and ponds, trail has stops to exercise on.. even a pavillon to chill under and set up for a birthday party. This place is great. πŸ₯° Our family's favorite spot!

One of the "hidden gems" of this part of Connecticut, Rockwell Park is a favorite location to see a wide variety of scenery in a reasonable walk. Pretty pond, stone tower, boardwalk through the pond, and amphitheater. An extensive playground, splash pad, and skatepark make this a well rounded park for children and adults of all ages.

I am truly in awe of the lifeguards here. I go to this place often, and always see attentive workers stationed by the pools. One specific time, I was playing in the pool by myself and accidentally made it seem as if I was drowning (I get carried away when I’m in the pool!) and one of the lifeguards, Hanna I believe to be her name, called out to me and said β€œMiss, are you okay?” It was very good to hear her concern, and I appreciated her concern for me. Highly recommended this place, and Hanna the lifeguard!

The Pequabuck River level is high and racing with all the rain we've had and the fall leaves are beautiful as you walk through the park. Saw a heron (?) at the back pond today.
