Rooster Farm is the third Kona coffee farm that we went to and we just love the way their coffee taste so much that we bought 3 of them as gifts to family&friends. It is a lovely small farm and the staff is very friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the tour all that much more fun. It is also fun to see up close the actual coffee roasting machine that they use (apparently it's kind of an antique that still works really well, and it's manual control!). I would definitely recommend a visit here. : ) Oh, and remember to make an appointment with them before going!

Rooster farms is absolutely amazing! My personal experience says this is in fact the best coffee on the island hands down. The road up is a little rough but don’t worry you are definitely heading in the right direction. The tour and coffee tasting is spot on. If you are on the island at the very least, pick up coffee before you head back home. You can thank me later.

I LOVED our private tour at Rooster farms coffee!! It was personable, educational and delicious trying 2 different roasts of their organically grown kona coffee beans. She freshly made pour over coffees for each of us to try and what a delicious way to taste all the flavours! Walking around the farm a little afterward was lovely and educational about the growing, picking and roasting processes!! Tara and team’s communication prior allowed me to know it was small and intimate (also not appropriate for my mom who was having major knee pain problems who opted not to come, although they would have happily adjusted the tasting location or avoid stairs up to the house if needed:) My brother, his wife and their young kids came and enjoyed it as well as with my boyfriend and aunt...a family affair! Plus, my first couple cups of your medium roast coffee have been delicious in my aeropress since returning home, Ahhh taste of Hawaii! I wish I was back there already!! Will order again online after I’m done with the bags I purchased on my trip! They accommodate your shipping as well! thanks Tara!! Meghan Ryan, ShineOnHealth Coaching:)

Fantastic experience at the Rooster Farm Coffee Co. After a beautiful drive up a winding road through coffee farms, we arrived at the Rooster farm and were greeted promptly by the owner. Enjoyed samples of the coffee along with a very informative presentation. Would highly recommend this very authentic experience while on the Big Island.

Best dark roast I ever had. It is pretty rough terrain getting to the farm. You will need 4x4. We didn’t and it took long time with rain. But it was worth the drive. Best dark roast and medium roast.

Oh! This place! You have to go if you are considering a Kona Coffee Tour. This place was absolutely incredible in every way. Our tour guide Tori was amazing and funny!! The coffee is by far the best I have ever tasted. We will definitely be back, and will order more online when we run out. Well worth every penny!

Wonderful family friendly experience! Ed was so kind during our tour, patient with our little one, the coffee and hospitality is unforgettable. The science and innovation Ed and his family implements behind the coffee making and farming process is also fascinating and a unique element to the experience. Looking forward to making a cup when I get home!

Tara was amazing! We really enjoyed the thorough, informative coffee farm tour. The coffee we tasted was sooo good! Looking forward to making my own cup at home with the beans we purchased!
