The park is under huge renovation plan to build resiliency from Super Storm Sandy and its effects on the community. The plan , not endorsed by the community , is to work on 45% at a time . That being said the open parts should be well maintained which it is not . The grass needs cutting , the lighting is poor , the rest stations deserve more attention.

It's a wonderful place to have a small gathering with food and music. Wonderful view of Brooklyn and the water, with a steady breeze to help you relax. A great place to exercise as well.

Great to bring the family for cookouts you have to get permit to do so has playgrounds for the kids baseball fields track field as well as for Soccer they really up greated the whole park so many things you can do all day and enjoying yourself as well as for the families that attends the park too.

I've been coming to the east river park my whole life. I love it here. Great place to hang with the kids and take dope pics.

Great park for many sports and jogging 🏃

Great place to take a long walk, check out the bridge & spring flowers. You'll see all kinds of athletes & team sports going on.

Many people run, so this is a good place to run. There are lots of sport fields and close to the river. You can see Brooklyn buildings and some water vehicles pass by

Good place for the family you could jog the park you could jog the track field it's all around good park, if you run the park is about to miles or more It also has ball fields of and Tennis Courts
