Emily is so great! I was so thankful for her flexibility in helping me achieve my dream to encapsulate my placenta. The prints she did were amazing and was even able to spell my daughter’s name with her umbilical cord! Would highly recommend this service or any service. The level of communication was outstanding!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience and could not recommend more!! Maris and Ashton were fantastic and I felt supported in all aspects throughout my pregnancy and delivery! Maris, who was present at the birth, was so calming, reassuring and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. Carolina Birth and Wellness was a wonderful part of my postpartum journey and I recommend them to any one looking for postpartum support. The placenta encapsulation process could not have been easier. If you are nervous about it taking place inside your home, don't be! Emily was amazing and the process was quick and easy. I also used Carolina Birth and Wellness to find my location consultant, Ashley. They offer in home visits which makes appointments convenient especially in those first few weeks postpartum. Everyone I worked with and spoke to was kind and encouraging. I look forward to working with them again!

I could not have imagined a better experience not only day of, but all throughout pregnancy. Maris and Ashton were incredibly knowledgeable, provided more than just birthing support, encouraged me in ways I didn’t even know I needed and genuinely cared for me my baby and husband and our first born. Weekly emails regarding my pregnancy kept me on track without feeling overwhelmed, lists to guide me in small things like packing a hospital bag - all included. Not to mention if I had any questions at all, my doulas were a text or phone call away. I give so much credit to having a successful VBAC to the doula support provided. Our newest is healthy and so are we as second time parents. What more could you ask for!?

Great doula support! Felt much more prepared for labor and delivery after our prenatal appointments. The reading material was very informative and thorough. The doulas are very friendly and supportive. They are available by text and phone calls before going to the hospital. Was good to have two doulas assigned to me, so one would always be on call. Had a good birthing experience because I had good support and guidance.

Amazing experience! We worked with Ashley & Jekisha from 32 weeks of pregnancy through 4 weeks postpartum. They were absolutely fabulous and allowed me to feel prepared and confident going into labor. Ashley spent A LOT of hours in the hospital with us and kept me entertained and laughing the whole time. I can't imagine that experience without her now! 10/10 recommend.

I would highly recommend CBW for birth doula and postpartum doula services. Maris was a wonderful support person for our birth, and I felt prepared for every scenario I faced during my pregnancy. I also took advantage of postpartum doula support which has been a game changer for me with new born twins and a toddler. I would not have survived the last few weeks without Nijsha's help.
