My wife wanted to take me out somewhere special for my birthday. She chose Connected! My!was that a GREAT choice! The service was the best had hands down! I ordered Delmonico Steak referred by our waiter Gerald! My wife ordered the Boor Tenderloin also referred by our waiter. Both meals were cooked to our fullest approval! We both agreed next time at Connected we will not be needing a menu! We will leave it like that!! Great place to eat, entertain, have a celebration of your choice and get served like a King or Queen! Ladies receive a long stem ROSE after you eat!

Visited Connected the other day with some colleagues, food was so good, I didn’t get a picture of it before I ate it! 🤪😅 Top notch customer service and dining all the way through! I didn’t know an experience like this existed here in Peoria, the atmosphere was like a dream! Roses for the ladies at the end of dinner was a treat on top! 🌹

Oh my goodness! My husband and I both enjoyed our Anniversary dinner here. They made us feel so special, they got us in right away when our previous plans fell through. We had a dry aged steak which was cooked to perfection with potatoes and asparagus. I also had the French Martini which was also amazing. We will definitely be back.

I had high expectations for this place because of all the great reviews and especially because of the big city menu prices. I grew up in Chicago, and good restaurants were not very hard to find. This restaurant was not anywhere near a 5-star experience. Maybe they used to be, but it was definitely not the case tonight. I've never had an issue where a restaurant will not swap a sauce for an entree. Especially when the substitute is cheaper. I don't eat red meat, and I almost always order Sea Bass when I see it on a menu. I did not want the lobster sauce that was listed on the menu. The waitress pointed out a lemon sauce that she thought would go well with it and said she would ask but then said, "It will probably be a no" before she walked away. Why? It's a $40 entree. Put your pride aside, no one is trying to offend your pairings, "chef". I got the calamari, which was dry and overcooked. I also got the salad with wild mushrooms, and it was pretty average and a very small portion for the price. My husband got the filet, he asked for medium and got medium rare. He got it without the sauce because he has an aversion to mushrooms. So the "chef" undercooks this streak and puts ZERO seasoning on it. No salt, no pepper. Absolutely zero flavor. We actually got to taste the low quality of the meat used. The potatoes that came with it were pretty good. We ordered a side of asparagus, and it was good, but most pieces were tough. It was described differently by the waitress than what we received. We finished with dessert. I got the creme brulee, and my husband got the key lime pie. We were asked if there was something we were celebrating, and we were, so they made a show out of it with a sparker. They flambe the creme brulee at the table, which is cool. But an entire shot of alcohol was overkill. Not only did I never get a crunchy charred top layer, but there was alcohol drowing the dessert. It was soggy and weird. My husband said the pie was ok. The bread and spread that was brought out in the beginning was really good. I would say that was my favorite part of the entire meal, and it was free. Ha! Would never go back for any reason. Total waste of money.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly employees once you make it through the first dining room. The employees are very attentive and make it a pleasurable experience. The food all looked and was presented nicely, and the taste was very good, but did, however have one dish that was lacking the full flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a fun experience, and a nice night out on the town of Peoria. You can see my full review on Facebook or insta @ Bethanygetsaround

Went here to celebrate my birthday. I loved it! The martinis are strong, and the food is better. The staff takes a moment to know why you're there (because no one just goes to a fine dining restaurant just for kicks), and want to celebrate with you. They will give a sparkler, a dessert, and a rose when celebrating. They'll even take pictures! Coat check, and many tables. A nice place!

This restaurant was truly exceptional. The ambience was fantastic, and we were fortunate to be seated near a cozy fireplace. The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. Words cannot fully capture my experience here. I highly recommend this place for celebrating your anniversary or a special date night. It will surely become one of your most memorable evenings.

Update 7/2/22 Very disappointing. Been so many times over the years for regular dates and special occasions. This was our first date night after getting married and couldnt wait to go to Connected again. Made reservations and the girl was excited for us, and why were going there. Our waitress though was a big downer, only wanted to push drinks and only upon leaving asked if we were there for any reason. The wait staff in the past has been a highlight right up there with the excellent food. And she isnt a new server, just didnt care. Then upon leaving, front desk person said hope everything met expectaions, I said it didnt. She smiled and walked away. Standards are way down over the last few months. Old review. Simply the best place to eat in Central Il. and beyond. More than worth a drive. The best steaks Ive ever had, and I eat a lot of steak. The staff is always professional and spot on. The atmosphere is perfect. There are some new places in B/N that could learn much from visiting Connected. If there is anything to critique its there is no dress code ( maybe consider a weekend dress code?) So people in jeans, sneakers and such can distract from the impecabbly dressed wait staff. And over all ambiance. Other than that a must go for date night or any night.

Upscale Italian restaurant. The bread is warm and soft, it is served with an eggplant dipping sauce. Very unique and tasty. The sauces were a bit too heavy for my liking but were good. You are served a complimentary lemon vodka shot and the woman are give a long stemmed rose. Nice ending touch. Only the hosted had on a mask.

Whoa, this has got to be one of the best restaurants in Peoria. Every dish was absolutely amazing. Great place to go for a special occasion. Highly recommend the veal. Sazerac cocktail was delicious. We spent 3 hours here with friends and had a great time.

I was very impressed with Connected, and I would definitely dine here again! This is a hidden gem. The outside looks unassuming (looks like a warehouse), but the inside transports you to a gorgeous fine dining experience. Beautiful setting, attentive service, and delicious food for a decent price. My mother and I were both given roses at the end of our meal as an added bonus. I would definitely recommend dining at Connected if you’re looking for a nice dinner in Peoria

We went to Connected for my birthday last night and everything was incredible! I could have bathed in their eggplant spread and I wanted to eat their au gratin potatoes until I burst! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel like the most important guest in the building. They ended the night giving me a white rose and a full belly!!!! We ordered the lamb chops and the ribeye.... both were so tender and full of flavor! If you do not get to this restaurant, you're missing out!!!! I cannot wait to go back. It was worth every penny!!!!!!! 10,000 stars!!!!!

This place is hands down the very best restraunt in Peoria. No better atmosphere or service or taste! They have the very best steaks in the state of Illinois outside of Chicago. They have incredible specials too from things not offered on their regular menu. The steak delmonico is the best thing I've ever eaten in this town. The epitome of big city fine dining, in a smaller city atmosphere. It is exquisite in every single way. Cannot reccomened any place in Peoria more than Connected. Out of this world flavor and taste.

This is one of the best places in Peoria area for dinner. The filet is great but I tend to get the sea bass. My husband got the veal Parmesan and couldn't stop eating and still had leftovers. Do yourself a favor though and start the meal with a basil lemon martini, one of their specialties, and one of my favorite cocktails EVER, hands down (this is what is in the picture).

Beautiful place. Love the atmosphere and how it makes you feel like you are outside eating in Italy. The food was better than expected. The menu is a bit exotic but they had a fantastic house special. It was pricey so definitely for special occasions.

Just wow! The service, food and decor was excellent. The inside of the restaurant transport you to a different location and is awesome. Make sure to make a reservation amd the prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for. Everything was very good, from the cocktails to the salad and dinner to dessert.

Food is always fantastic... The DelMonico Steak, and the Chilean Sea Bass were exceptional. They make a great Old Fashioned, and probably the best Creme Brule I've ever had. And service was good this time, but better the last 2 times we were there.

It was exceptional. The bolognese was amazing. The chicken parm was huge, and the shrimp alfredo was also very good. Service was outstanding. You can tell everything is homemade. Prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and the quality of food. We were working next door and came in late, but we'll be sure to eat here again. I can't say enough good things.

It was really awesome! Great atmosphere and amazing staff! Just a heads up, all of the pasta dishes are made with chicken broth so there aren’t any vegetarian options. The chefs were kind enough though to throw something together for me though and it was yummy!!

WOW! What an incredible experience. I rarely give 5 stars, but Connected surpassed expectations. The food and service was outstanding. I highly recommend the wild boar. My wife had the sea bass, which was amazing.

This is the best restaurant in the state. Hands down. We come several times a year to celebrate different things and I feel the wait staff doesn't even need to ask what we want... they already know we start off with the Mozarella Caprese salad to share! We are beef eaters and haven't had any entree other than the Del Monaco or the Bistecca Al Barolo. The bistecca is a filet mignon, cooked to perfection with a mushroom and barolo wine sauce on top. When it comes to steak, 99.9% of the time I am the "S&P for me" guy and look down on those who have to dip their steak or slather it in sauce to eat it.... this though... every bite is heavenly. If you finish all that, and have room for dessert, I highly recommend the Pots de Cremé. It's sweet, salty, and garnished with a sprig of mint, chocolate and raspberry. Phenomenal. The staff is very friendly. They make you feel like you are the most important person in the building and are very accommodating. Couldn't complain if I wanted to. I love the Sinatra style music and motif. It's location is unsuspecting of such a fine dining experience but trust me, you will love connected.

We visited connected on a Friday night and everything was absolutely wonderful. We are from Green Bay, WI and were in town for the weekend and really wanted to give this place a try. We are so glad we did! My friend and I both ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was really good. The owner even stopped by our table to chat for a bit which was a great touch. If you are ever in Peoria, you need to check this place out. You will not be disappointed. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

We looked forward to this for several months after reading reviews. We were celebrating our 41st Anniversary. We were seated out front by the stream. It was cold and everytime the door opened we were blasted by cold air. My husband ordered the boar. It was very tender, but lots of crushed pepper. My tortellini was very good. When I made reservations I asked if they would do something special for our Anniversary and was told that they would I just needed to let my server know. He asked if we were celebrating something special and I told him it was our Anniversary, but that's as far as it went. No other acknowledgement. We expected that it would be a pricey meal, mostly for the ambience and experience, but we didnt make it past the main entrance and ate in the front foyer. I think the next time we spend $90 for our Anniversary it will be someplace else. I was disappointed with this experience

If you want to celebrate something, get a reservation here. Their specials are outstanding and everything is so well executed. I had this Bolognese made with ribeye and wild boar trimmings marinated with cloves and cinnamon. Unreal. And the complimentary eggplant dip is delicious. Drinks are fantastic too. One of my favorite places for sure!

Upscale service and fine dining experience. Exceptional atmosphere and decor. Ambiance is inviting and servers are top notch. Gourmet cuisine is scrumptious. Celebrated our son's college graduation from Bradley University and they made it a night to remember! Served our desert with a sparkler and warm heart felt congratulations. Well done!! Highly recommended for a special occasion experience. They also have a small private room for a more intimate experience for up to 10. Ladies leave with a 🌹 rose.

This was our second visit to Connected. If you’re looking for a great restaurant with attention to great service, amazing food and awesome atmosphere, this is the place to go. Our waitresses Karen and Taylor and everyone else who served us, including the sommelier made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. Biggest shout out goes to Taylor who did an amazing job. We will definitely be back.
