Arrived to find the shop not open yet so went next door to pick up some pastries and have some coffee after working all night. I usually pick up some fabric every once in a while to sew masks and scrub hats for the nurses I work with. I was planning on looking around after I was done.. Upon getting to my car a staff member came out and told me that they had called a tow truck already because I was illegally parked. I explained that they weren't open when I arrived but dhe was so unfriendly that i just decided not to buy anything and left. The shop opened at 10 and I got back to my vehicle at 10:04. Make sure you shop first at their shop or else they will have you towed apparently. I'm so turned off by this encounter it will be a while before I go back which is unfortunate because I prefer to shop in my neighborhood. I'm disappointed we are neighbors and felt that this is not the spirit of the VJ area. One star for the way I was treated.

Very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Beautiful shop. Top of the line sewing machines and embroidery machines. Amazing selection of fabrics and they offer great sewing and quilting classes. The new owner is amazing at customer service. Loved the free coffee and tea!!!

They repaired our B830 and cleaned it for a reasonable amount. It has been working great since. Was having several different issues. We live near Omaha and it was worth taking it to Des Moines.

This shop has an excellent range of fabrics to please all quilters, and also some great fabrics for clothing, bag making, or crafting. They have a great selection of notions, tools, and accessories too! A knowledgeable and helpful staff, always pleasant to chat with as they cut your fabric or help you find something. Dont miss the clearance section in the back room, or the short bolts on discount for some great deals!

Great, large store. Good place for machine tuneups. But if you are planning to visit on a Sunday, check their Facebook. I have tried to go on a Sunday a few times and they have been closed. But they do let you know on Facebook.

This quilt shop is awesome! always helpful, kind, and courteous. They go out of their way to do what they can to assist you on whatever your working on. I was having a hard time with drunkers path. One of the team members sat me down and showed me how she does it right on the Bernina machine. I have so many more stories about their great customer support. Not to mention their wonderful collection of fabrics, patterns and notions they have to offer.
