My electric bill has been increasing at a phenomenal rate within the last two-three years. I discussed the extraordinary increase with Nancy who tells me that the billing rates have not increased within the recent past. I have not maintained a historical record of my past charges but I am sure that my costs have increased by a factor of three over the last 3-4 years. I also believe that my power consumption has decreased over the last 3-4 years. Nancy is to have someone check my meter and I would believe that I will receive information stating that my meter is operating properly. If my guess is accurate, I will have serious reservations concerning the integrity of the cooperative. Have any other coop customers noticed similar rate increases as I have?

I've only talked to a staff member via phone once for an outage and she was very nice. The front desk employees seem to be rather burdened by their job and let you feel that. The power providing service is a joke. Not only is the amount of outages unbelievably high, also the power surges are ridiculous. Try using LED lights without surge protection for more than a month in Arab....it's practically impossible. 140 years we have electricity to our disposal now and yet reliable technology didn't make it to Arab yet.

11/20 They shut off my power with no Notitce Lost 530 in meat! They said they dont have to send out late notices! And the next day after the power turn off I got it! They chaged me 50.00 to tirn it back on! 06/22 Had to replace 3 pc from there power surges and summer the worse. When it start losing power they just put their phone off the hook so you cant even call to complane! THEE Worse Power Co Iv had to deal with!~ This place keeps getting worse and worse! updated 12/23

I was shocked to see an average of two stars. My experience is the opposite. Service is much more reliable than 20 years ago when it seemed that service either blinked on and off or went went several times a week. Office staff were professional, helpful and courteous.

3.95 for a service charge to use a debit card is ridiculous. They are already price gauging as it is. One would think they would have the money to processs the millions they rake in annually.

Awesome. Professional, friendly, they have been out to my house twice to cut trees for me. I was told up front what they could and couldn't do and everybody that I dealt with was very honest and easy to work with. Thank you A.E.C we greatly appreciate all your hard work and dedication.

Tree took down the lines in our subdivision. The crew was out even before the storm ended. Got power back on Really fast ! GREAT JOB and THANK YOU !!
