Nice venue for gatherings, a picnic, etc., especially now during this pandemic because it is covered by a roof but open to the air on the sides. So less chance of spreading the virus. There are actually two venues under one large roof at a Kingston Pavilion. One side faces the harbor and has a very large round fireplace. The other side, separated by an enclosed building that is also under the roof, faces the river and also has a large round fireplace. When I was there the tables and chairs were still set up. The tables are long and fold up. The chairs are standard metal folding chairs. So if your event is in the winter, the chairs will be cold to sit on. You can move the tables and chairs and place them as you like. If you care about it, bring something to sweep or blow the leaves out from under the cover, because as I said the sides are open and leaves do blow in. If the managers do not know you are coming, the bathrooms will be locked, so beware!

👍👍 I absolutely LOVED this park! What a beautiful place! We stopped here on our way home from visiting the Botanical Gardens since it was close by and so glad we did. We had lunch in the park and saw all the ducks, pigeon, and coy fish as well as all the water features. .
