This is the place where we look into deep space and back into time. The radio telescopes are huge! The visitor center is excellent, staff is very engaging and helpful. Self guided walking tour amoung the antenna array is inspiring. The vastness of the landscape brings it all home.

Ridiculous! After almost two years of Covid 19 pandemic has past and great success to protect public, now saying you can not visit the VLA and closed to public to keep people inside to safe! Wow. I drove 11 hours not to see this. Shame!

Peaceful, beautiful place to stop and observe the large arrays. There is a small parking lot that appears to not to be used any longer., it was only us. Sat and watched the sunset and had a picnic dinner.

A great place for nerds and families to learn how radio astronomy works. What great work they are doing. Safety officer Aspen was so gracious to give us and other visitors an informal presentation. It was an excellent visit. Thank you for making it welcoming. For other visitors it is so important to shut the phone off and use a digital camera. The equipment is super sensitive. Have fun
