I got the ribs, cabbage, rice, and Mac and cheese. My god. Some of the best food I've ever had. Amazing taste and plenty of food to go with. Everyone there greets you with big smiles and talks to you with respect and class. I recommend this for everyone!!

We visited on a holiday weekend as we were passing through and were surprised we had missed this cute place in the past. The food was decent and we both took portions home of the seafood gumbo and meatloaf. Unfortunately, the cornbread was reheated so it got a bit hard and dry, but we'd like to give it a second chance fresh. For an appetizer, the Mac and cheese with brisket was warm and comforting. Definitely going to visit again!

We tried this restaurant tonight and love it! The food was very delicious. The crab & spinach dip was amazing-you can taste the crab in every dip. We also ordered the meatball, seafood bisque, Smothered Chicken Meal & Seafood Gumbo. Everything were tasty and price is very reasonable. We will definitely go back to try more dishes!

What a great place for comfort food! The dining area is quaint and the service is both snappy and on point. But the food... that's what seals the deal! Gumbo, fried chicken and fish, smothered pork chop... all delicious and all come with mac & cheese or mashed potatoes and corn & cabbage or greens. Try the cranberry bourbon meatball or grilled chicken stick appetizers too! Ask them about a dirty soda for something different to drink while you're dining... the Just Peachy was so good that I had two!

OMG!! Absolutely delicious comfort food... Saw the reviews so I decided to get a take out order..The woman who took the order was very pleasant and gracious...The food was amazing..Ribs were awesome highly recommend..The Mac and cheese was delicious also recommend...Talk about comfort food...To die for...The cabbage and dirty rice to go with your dinner couldn't have made this meal more complete..We also got french fries...I look forward to more dinners..Kuddos Willie Maes..My compliments to the chef and workers..Best comfort food in the area...

Our first visit here was not great. After hearing so many great things we were excited to try this place. Waitress was nice, the place had about 5 tables occupied. Took a long time to get offered to take our drink order, then was told they were to busy to make the hand crafted drinks. Took a while for us to get our drinks, then ordered an appetizer and our meal. Well appetizer never came out after 20 mins, it was just soup. Then the waitress came back and said they were out of soup. Another 20 mins went by, all the while the lights were flickering on and off(no storm or bad weather), then meal came chicken sandwich was delicious per my kid, meatloaf was mediocre and sauteed shrimp was cold as in like ice cold. Then it took another 15 mins til the waitress came back to even check on things, didn't bother expressing the shrimp was ice cold, because we needed to pick up our other kid, Server then finally came back to collect our check and returned with card. Then as rest of family exited waitress said wait so another 10 mins went by she came out with peach cobbler to go, nice gesture, but we tasted at home and realized why you would give it away , because I would not charge someone for something that was awful. Now I will say that I am a fair person and will try the place again, I believe everyone deserves a second chance and that everyone can truly have a bad day. So I do look forward to trying it again. Other members in our party said they would not return, but I am willing to give it another try! All in all it was 2 1/2 hours at this location for our meal.

I had no idea this place was down the road from me. This was some of the BEST food I ever tasted since I lived in the Poconos! I am mad I ordered such a small amount for take out. I will definitely be returning

The food is soo freaking good. The dirty totes was creamy and delicious. Trish and her daughter are such gracious host. We were meaning to have dinner there for a while and when we finally had the opportunity to, we were blown away. Atmosphere was friendly. The quality of the food is like home made. Portion size are huge. I can’t write enough positives. We will come back weekly.
