Don’t sell yourself short, climb the Via Ferrata. Without a doubt one of the top experiences you can get yourself in to in all directions 1.5 hours outside of Denver. Matt and B-rad guided us on this epic adventure, we will be back. Worth every penny. Thank you KMAC Guides!

My brother and I were out here for a summit bid of Long’s Peak and had a day where we had nothing scheduled. The day before we thought it would be awesome to try rock climbing and with short notice they were able to find us a guide and make it happen. Our guide was Sam and he was awesome. My brother and I are by no means climbers but are very active and stay in good shape. Sam recognized this and picked a perfect spot with multiple routes to first let us get a taste of it and understand what was going on but also by the end of our 6 hour day put us on some difficult routes to push our limits. He also provided us with so much information about the gear, the sport and the culture it was truly a great experience!!

I cannot recommend KMAC any higher for leading an expedition to the Peregrine Arete Via Ferrata. I hope you’re lucky enough to get Nick as your guide. He was amazing - engaging, funny, knowledgeable, patient, and extremely safe. For a four person family that has never attempted a Via Ferrata, this was the perfect adventure and the highlight of our weeklong trip to California and Colorado. Thank you so much, Nick.

Cezanne, from KMAC Guides gave my mom and I an incredible experience on an afternoon/evening guide up the Via. We were celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a more patient, attentive, and kind guide. With her in the middle of us I never had to worry about her safety and was able to really enjoy, and remain present in the moment. He was able to make her dreams come true when we were able to do the more challenging cable bridge and flawlessly (her without any climbing experience) completed the whole thing. Thank you again, Cezanne for such a wonderful birthday celebration!!

Had an amazing experience, did the cloud ladder. Unreal exposure but still felt safe the whole way up. There were a few areas of scrambling and difficulty although our guide Nick was knowledgeable and encouraging. He got some great action shots for us along with his fair share of jokes, kept it light which made it a 10/10 experience.

Great experience! Mother daughter hiking trip day ($378) with Harry. Had some reservations about scrambling up the waterfall to go to Sky Pond and wanted a guide at the last minute. KMAC was recommended by Estes Park locals and KMAC set up the experience easily. We feel fortunate that Harry was the one available because he was kind, engaging, and tailored the hike to our needs. We benefitted from his knowledge at the waterfall section as did a few others not in our party. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic and unique experience! We were a group of four and did the multi pitch climbing route with Meg and Nick. Both guides were very professional, helpful and very experienced and made us feel safe. They also taught us a lot of useful climbing skills. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who would like to try multi pitch climbing for the very first time!

I had an amazing time on the Via Ferrara Cloud Ladder (most difficult of the routes) with Xiao as my guide. We had a ton of fun and she made sure I felt comfortable the whole time- belaying me at the beginning until I felt comfortable enough to rely on just the personal rescue devices. As an experienced outdoor climber I felt it was only mildly challenging, and once I was about 1/3 the way through I wasn’t scared at all and just enjoyed the climb. Incredible views from the top!
