This is a cute and adorable little gem of a place. It's a ma and pa store high atop the valley in the land of 4 seasons! Yes, I said it; we never approved of the "live up" logo designed by some back east marketing group! 😂 Anywho, Ma even had a fresh baked cookie to share with us! ❤️ This little store is sure to have something that you'll have to have before leaving! And don't let its size deter you; even after being inside, I feel like I'll need to go back again because I know there's things I missed around one of those corners!😂

It brought me back to my childhood. It is organized with a lot of merchandise. All the great toys! Oh and the owner Darlene is fun and enthusiastic.

In town for work and decided to stop in… wow! What a cool place. Tons of really unique toys and gifts! They were extremely nice and helpful as well. I will definitely stop in again next time I’m in Tehachapi.

This place is fantastic! My kids refer to it as "The Old Toy Store". The focus is definitely on edutainment. Darlene herself is wonderful and loves talking with children. She's very much a grandma.

Took my three of my Grandkids to "pick their own gift" from the huge storck display of toys. What a joy it was to watch them explore "all" the merchandise .......and finally choosing exactly what they wanted!!!

If you're looking for something ordinary don't come here. This store has the most complete selection of gifts you won't find in the big box stores. This is a well thought out inventory.

Fun local toy store. Lots of older style toys without the major brands. A place you can wonder around at any age and enjoy.
