👍👍 What nice ladies who greeted me sat the welcome center. They were so helpful and gave me perfect instructions and brochures on places for overnight stays. They offered local handmade gifts. I purchased a beautiful pottery coffee cup at such a reasonable price. I'm so glad I stopped there.

Mark was very helpful, if you're going to Cooker creek to pan for gold, stop at the welcome center to learn the do's and don'ts.

On our way to see Bucks Bald, we stopped at the Coker Creek Welcome Center. The lady there was friendly and helpful. We bought some hiking staffs and maps. They have lots of souvenirs there. A nice place to stop and information about things to see and do in the area.

I stumbled across this neat little welcome center/post office driving thru the mountains. Immediately I was overcome with nostalgia. It's in the heart of Tennessee's gold country and looks like it came straight from the gold rush days. It's full of local folk art and endless information/history about the area and the Coker Creek Gold Rush, and the employees are the nicest and most helpful ever

The lady working there was about to close up and leave for the day but was nice enough to unlock the building and let us use the restroom. Also has a lot of local crafts and information about the surrounding area.

Beautiful location for a very quaint welcome center, there’s no WiFi 🛜 here so whatever you don’t turn off your GPS 🧭. Ms Mimi will provide you with all the details you need for the area, from gold panning to places for camping or hiking. Many of the things sold in this welcome center looks like it’s made by both the locals and the Amish communities around these areas so enjoy their hospitality while passing through.

I was cruising from Tellico Plains to Copper Hill and dropped in here to check it out. There were a couple ladies that worked there they were exceptionally nice and extremely helpful. You could tell they were very enthusiastic about their community. Highly recommend dropping in here if you're in the area.

Neat little store And town post office. Pick up a couple neat items from a local artist and mail your post card from here too!
