I enjoy walking the River Trail every morning with my dog. There’s all kinds of people either walking, running, biking & pushing strollers. Some are friendly and say hi back or allow their dog to greet yours :) They have a porta potty by the West fork bridge & another one a couple miles down at the pavilion picnic area. This is a great activity for the family and a great way to get in some exercise for all ages. You will definitely sweat a lot whether you walk for a little bit or for a long time (especially during the summer) but don’t worry all the trees 🌳 provide amazing shade! *ALSO, I saw a Baby Bobcat sitting in the middle of the trail. It didn’t seem vicious, it approached us& though he looked cute I had to take precaution because you never know 😬 I kept walking & it disappeared into the woods 🌲

This park is very nice! A bit of a drive for me but definitely great place to get a workout and do some cycling. The trails are well marked. Mainly paved trails. I will definitely be returning... I really enjoyed the river next to the hike. Enjoy!

Big. Beautiful. Great trails. Gross river and a lot of shut down/fenced off trails...with no explanation. Still a good park though.

Great park with miles of paved trails. Enjoyed hours of rollerblading and saw a bobcat also. Nice place for families with kids as there are spots for bbq and parties as well.

The Nature Center is a wonderful place to go. Very attractive building. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The trails are enjoyable to go on. We will be back.

This place is beautiful and great to go to with family. There are playgrounds and trails for bikes and walking. My family of three walks about 6 miles everytime we go here and it's a great way to get in some walking while being surrounded by trees and water.

Gorgeous trails. VERY busy on weekends. Fun playground. Lots of wildlife. Have seen armadillos, turtles, herons, hawks, even a golden eagle! Some of the paved trails got washed away a while back, but have been re-routed with mulch paths. Wildflowers everywhere in April!

Beautiful area with paved trails for many miles, going east all the way to 360. Perfect, convenient escape from the stressors of city life to enjoy a leisurely walk, jog or bike ride.

Such a great place to walk for a LONG time. The trails all loop around and connect, so you could take a new route every time. I've been here more than 6 times and have taken a new path each time. The playground is quite nice too if you have little ones. Wildlife can be spotted here, such as hawks, squirrels, ducks, and more. Do bring your bug spray if you visit spring-fall as the mosquitoes are strong in some parts. Also be careful of going off-trail as there are chiggers and poison ivy.

Pretty area, nature center a little misleading advertising being free when the only part worth seeing inside cost $10+/person and what was free was not worth the drive,(just a few small reptiles behind glass is pretty much all that they have in the free section), trails by nature center were underwhelming, but more trails around the park area, playground at the park area was smaller but had some nice features that made it fun and interesting.

I’ve been coming here for years! I always love a good hike and I still haven’t been on every trail! Some trails I know like the back of my hand and others I’ve actually gotten myself lost 😅! I’ve seen a couple different species of snakes and lots of wildlife! I wish they would stop chopping down trees! Not sure what that’s about!

Loved my afternoon/evening walk here. Things are beginning to get a little more green as spring is approaching, but either way, this beautiful park is a great place for biking, walking/running, bringing the family, etc.

Great park for everything from family outings to distance runs to mountain biking. Paved trail loop for walkers and runners - accessible and stroller friendly. Nice bathroom and cool playground area. And then 13+ miles of dirt trail for mountain biking and more serious hiking. Enjoyed an hour-long ride and a picnic there. Will be back again soon!

We spent some time out here on Saturday and the whole family had a blast. There is a nice playground on the premises and tons of trails. The Nature Center has a lot of interactive activities and the bird watching was so fun. We will definitely be back again.

The cement path has many parts that are hazardous and closed off. The hiking trail has hazardous parts and is completely shut off. The only part that's open is the biking trail and it's full of bikers, it's not hikable. And somehow people still bike in sections specifically marked for pedestrian traffic. The playground is small and better for bigger kids. There are a few nice picnic areas but otherwise it's a waste of unmaintained usable park.

This is a wonderful park. They have something to do for all ages and if you plan it out right, you can really make a day of it here. They have restrooms so just bring some food/drinks and you're all set. Make your memories ✨️

This is a beautiful park. Just remember if someone says they'll meet you at the entrance, that there is now an entrance on 157 as well as on Greenoaks. The Nature center is very well done and even works as a wedding venue.

7.5 miles of trail for running, hiking, or cycling . The trail on the east end is a big improvement recently. Had a great ride yesterday. Going west on the trail has been terrible since parts are falling in the river. It's been doing this for a few years and nothing is being done to fix it. A nasty looking fence should come down and regroom the trail with cement or asphalt where the detour of wood chips have been placed.

We love the river legacy mountain bike trail! It’s a nice beginner friendly trail with some challenging bits. There’s also some skills areas that are fun to explore. The trail could use some TLC, but overall happy to have this option in Arlington.

My new favorite place to go walking. Fun trails, never super crowded and always beautiful!

I've always liked the way this little trail looks like, if you want to find it, start walking towards the back of the trail, once you pass the restrooms, & start to enter the trees on the sidewalk, walk to your right, cross the bridge & you'll see the sign, it leads you to a dead end.

The best Park in Arlington thus many paths, you can walk a ton of trails, you can ride your bicycle on there's a major jungle gym set for the children to make light of there's various things there. Its exceptionally lovely and it's quite calm it's cool my better half and I partake in this park a ton we go there frequently I truly do recommend it really great for youngsters those huge open seals where they can run and play you can fly a kite the nature place is currently open it's simply magnificent.

First time coming here and wifey is suggesting we come back tomorrow for a picnic. Very big park with lots of things to do. Exercising, walking, picnic, you decide what you want to do with your time. Forgot to take pictures but we had fun.

This is the fiberglass concrete playground that broke my son's neck. Who thinks concrete is good for a playground for kids. He was 4 when he fell and landed head first on concrete. Be careful at the 600k costing concrete mess. Looks great kids run wide open toward the deadly structures. US products safety commission deemed it unsafe. God saved my son, 7/27/2013!
