Not a whole lot to see here. Remains of one building, however the mountain views are spectacular! The creek was running hard while we were there too.

The remains of Hancock have mostly dissolved back into the landscape but this area is filled with fascinating ruins and history. As part of this overall narrative, it’s worth seeing.

I'm from Illinois so I know bad roads, this wasn't even a road in places. 5 miles took 37 minutes in a jeep. All that is left is the foundation of the old saloon. Only positive is you are up in unspoiled country near the tree line if you like that sort of thing. Definitely not what I would call a ghost town.

A long rough ride up a road that does not require front wheel drive, but it is worth it to see an interesting place. If possible hike up the alpine trail, the views are fantastic and it is a rail road grade, so it is not incredibly difficult. I would say it is moderate difficulty due to the distance.

Long, extremely slow, dangerous road to get up there for 2 structures right off the road you can't get close to & nothing but a marker for Hancock Ghost town. Definitely skip. There are a couple trails at the top but the elevation is so high us midwesterners couldn't go more than a few yards.

Beautiful drive and scenery. Late July 2020 wild flowers are lovely. Enjoy the hiking, biking, camping and drive

Nice place. Was relatively crowded and not really a lot to see from a ghost town. But it was great just being out in nature and seeing some of the old mines on the way up.
