Absolutely amazing restaurant! I don't like restaurants and I was so impressed. The owner is the kindest man, so hospitable, friendly and generous. The staff is attentive and helpful and kind. Great overall service and the food is top notch. We had dinner and I felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant. Will 100% be going back again and again. Our new favorite place to eat! Definitely a hidden gem in Colorado Springs.

We recently discovered one of the best cafes/bakery we have ever visited. If you have not been to the Marigold Cafe & Bakery you are missing out. We went early to check out the baked goods and were blown away by the beautiful presentation and delicious smells. When we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest people. Since it was our first time we were asking some questions to get an idea of what we should order and the staff was engaged in the conversation and very helpful. After we ordered we sat down and were given a coffee cake we had not ordered. The waitress informed us it was taken care of by the owner, we felt like it must have been a mistake, but he came over and said he had heard it was our first time in and we had to try their coffee cake. He stayed there with us getting to know us and what brought us to his establishment. He was engaged and friendly and extremely genuine. After our other items were delivered he left us to enjoy our muffins, chocolate croissant, coconut cake, as we were getting up to pay he came back from around the counter, shaking our hands and thanking us for coming. We arrived as new patrons but left feeling like we were old friends. Oh and the baked goods are amazing!

I was in the mood for dessert so I decided to try the Marigold Café & Bakery, I was not disappointed. The hardest decision I had was which items to choose out from the amazing display of baked items. I ordered several dessert items and they were all delicious. My personal favorite was the Frasier, which is a cross between a strawberry shortcake and a white cake. The staff was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I will definitely go back for dessert, also I will try their normal dining menu. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to go.

We order birthday cakes from Marigold every year! Great bakery and their desserts are some of the best in the Springs! The double chocolate mousse cake and the strawberry Fraser are two of the absolute best desserts we’ve had.

Fantastic food. Top shelf. Must save room for dessert! If you can't finish a whole one for Pete's sake share one. Excellent service. Would go over 5 ⭐ if possible. This quality has been consistant for 27 years!!! Thank you for your obvious care that all you come in have a superior experience.

Great desserts, service varies from server to server (Rhett and Isabella are usually good), and the food is decent but it can be inconsistent. A while ago they were serving a phenomenal pork sandwich as a special, which would be a great addition to the permanent menu. However, some other times, like today, there have been more significant issues with seasoning and protein temperature. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves but as a background I will say that the burger was supposed to be medium temp. The first time is was 100% medium rare and lacked seasoning (didn’t think to snap a photo) and upon re-firing it was seriously over cooked and offensively salty. When we tried to have a conversation with Gus (kitchen manager?) - not to get any more free meals; we were just offering pretty reasonable feedback - he just wanted to give us more free meals. But that is uncomfortable, especially if it’s aimed at ending the conversation. More than “getting our money’s worth” this was about avoiding this issue in the future for everyone, and preventing a potential food intoxication. He insisted that they’d never had any proteins sent back to the kitchen, which sounds very unlikely and it felt like a disappointing, defensive response. If you read reviews far enough, you’ll see that some others have suggested only going there for desserts and maybe an appetizer and a glass of wine, and I would absolutely agree with them.

We have shared birthdays, baby showers, graduation parties, date nights, and most recently my daughter’s going away party at Marigold Cafe & Bakery. My employees anticipate a cake (fruit tart) from here with a chocolate plaque with their name on it for every anniversary. This is the absolutely most recognizable establishment in Colorado Springs. The team is always a delight and the owner is obviously there for the costumers. The food is to die for, especially the perfectly esthetic and delicious desserts. Thank you Marigold Cafe for always going above and beyond.

It was my first time there. We arrived a half hour before the dining room opened, without reservations. Fortnite for us, there was ONE table not reserved. I felt a bit of sticker shock, looking over the menu. This is not a cheap place to eat. However the food was some of the best I've ever eaten. It was plated perfectly, with good portions. Plenty of leftovers, which the waiter boxed up. The waitstaff was very attentive to our needs and pleasant. Desserts are superb, so be prepared to have trouble deciding. Be sure to make reservations, they are very busy.

One of colorado springs renowned local eateries. Great menu and venue whether you want an amazing but low key lunch all the way up to hosting a private upper end business event in the back room. Lots of amazing food choices to satisfy the diverse palettes and diets of most everyone, thats assuming you make it past the pastry case. Its on the must do for me if youre in the Springs.

Very nice place. It was a little crowded, but hey, that's a good sign right? Food was pretty good, nothing too crazy, but I like that everything tastes fresh, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Great place to meet with a friend or friends. I definitely plan to revisit.

Last night my husband treated me to a birthday dinner at Marigold and we loved it! There were three other people celebrating their birthday as well and the atmosphere reflected our collective happiness. The food came out quickly and we demolished everything except dessert, but that's just because we didn't physically have room for everything. I loved the Bleu cheese salad! The dressing was perfect and the cheese tasted perfect! The desserts are exceptional. I need to go back and try everything else. I recommend coming here because the service was lovely, the food was amazing, and the experience was perfect.

Amazing! We just visited the bakery part (it's mostly restaurant with a small bakery near the entrance) and everything was EXCELLENT! Breads were flaky and delicious, and the eclairs were classic french-style ... just lightly sweet. We'll be visiting again before we have to head home!

We stopped here while we were traveling through but also on a referral from another traveler. When you enter, there is a desert case with all kinds of cakes and pies that look incredible and there is also a bar at the entrance. This is a very busy restaurant but it was noticeable that most of the people eating were local and high percentage probably over 65+. I ordered the special of the day, salmon and shrimp. The salmon and shrimp were cooked perfectly as were the sautéed mushroom's. My wife had the Beef Bourguignon and it too was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I had a piece raspberry cheesecake and my wife had a lemon tart and both were very good. Service was outstanding.

Wow. What an amazing surprise this restaurant was. We made a last minute decision to eat here, at 7:30, with no reservation. The owner came over and assured us we would get a table. He then approached us numerous times to make sure we were enjoying the food and even brought over complimentary desserts on one of the trips. The food was exceptional but the desserts were to die for.

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful knowledgeable staff, food and atmosphere. Everything was tasty, prepared perfectly and wonderfully presented. The owner came over and personally checked on us several times and when they were out of eclairs an alternative dessert was brought out to us. Everything I've ever had from Marigolds has been absolutely to die for. Their desserts are definitely worthy of saving some space for!

We enjoyed this place. The chicken was delicious. The batter on the fish was nice. The fries have a slight batter seasoning reminiscent of curly fries that is tasty. The margherete pizza was a bit too cheesy for me but this is a minor complaint. Looking forward to dessert.

Where has this place been hiding!? What an amazing first experience at Marigold Cafe & Bakery. I was wowed at every course, served great wine, sent home with goodies, and made feel special by the owner himself. Gus and the entire bar staff (where I sat tonight) thank you so much. A perfect night I didn’t know I needed. I will definitely be back again and again. My wonderful desserts are not pictured, because I ate them too quickly before snagging a picture, oops! The raspberry cheesecake and tiramisu were devine.

The service was amazing. Attentive but not overbearing. The drink was good but small. Can’t remember what it was, but it was a seasonal blueberry something or other. Reuben was delicious and the pizza was equally good. The desserts are to die for!! I’ll be back for sure.

The frasier(strawberry shortcak) melted in the mouth because the cake sheet was so soft. The yummiest pastry cream, rich whipped cream were added with large strawberries made the cake perfect. It was the most delicious cake I've ever had in America. The cheesecake had also very deep and rich creamy flavor. Crust was even more savory because it contained nuts. Everyone seemed to buy the cinnamon twist, so I asked for one. And I regretted a lot because I bought only one. It was the most delicious bread I had recently. The bakery side was very busy, but nevertheless, all the staff were very kind. This was so impressive to me. Everyone responded with a smile, and I felt so good.

Wow! The pastries are amazing. We bought an assortment from varying croissants, mousse cakes, and tarts! Each one was delightful and melt in your mouth good. The crust on the tarts is unique and added depth to the desserts. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This was our first time, and we had a great time. Our waiter maybe…was new, but sol the support staff had great service and great attitudes, which speaks well for the place. The food and desserts were delicious.

I didn’t know what to expect when looking up this place but it was so good and exceeded any expectation. The food was really good, service is AMAZING, and environment is welcoming and warm. We had Riley and Josh as our servers and they were on top of it and great! I ordered filet mignon and it was delicious and melted in my mouth. Was so good I forgot to take a picture! Everything was super good!

For the first four years after moving to Colorado Springs, I never recognized what lovely little gem Marigold is. The owners offer a nice touch of warmth and hospitality, for what I thought was a quick visit for a glass of wine and raspberry cheesecake (a must try). I truly am appalled at the customer service and fantastic ambiance that the seating and bar area has to offer. The restaurant has a variety of French cuisine, with a great selection of wine and cocktails to choose from. I also appreciate Gus and his wife for truly making it a priority to appreciate their guests and take pride in the service they have to offer.
