I consider myself fortunate to have found this fantastic place. They have done an exceptional job photographing and digitizing several paintings for me. Their staff has been kind, considerate, and helpful every time I am there. They also have any and all painting supplies that I could think of. It’s truly a one-stop shop.

I'd recommend KA Artist shop to anyone! I'm confident any time I place an order, go into the store for supplies, or take a class, that I'll be more than satisfied with the outcome. I recently took a class there taught by the owner, Kristen. Kristen is such an excellent, thorough, and inclusive teacher. Speaking to folks like me who have invisible disabilities that can make participation tough - KA Artist Shop is a welcoming place that meets you where you are, with kindness (and easy curbside pickup, hurray!) PS they also have a customer loyalty program that is excellent and imo on par with Michaels.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop! I drive an hour to visit them. They have gone above and beyond for me and my printing needs the last few years. Amazing people and a fantastic selection of art supplies and stationary that you won’t find at big box stores. One of my favorite things about K.A. is that they sell specialty pens and markers individually, making it easy to find replacements and complete collections!

Fantastic shop! I can get everything I need for my work from all of my painting supplies to fine art printing. Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable about their products too. They also order supplies and even turn me on to some I didn't know about. The finest shop in Athens, Ga for everything creative.

Love this shop! My friends and I were strolling through Athens and stumbled upon this little shop. Everything was minimalist and adorable, from the interior decor to the labels for the supplies. Kristen was really helpful too, and introduced me to calligraphy and what pens and pen tips to buy. I've always wanted to get further into design, and I'd like to thank her too. They have a lot there, from a variety of inks to a rent-able photo room with lights and all! She also has a variety of art and calligraphy lessons there, which I really want to try. I'll always visit here whenever I'm in Athens, really love the atmosphere and environment!

I wish I still lived in Athens so I could shop here more often. Whenever I’m back in town I make a point of stopping by. I love the bright colors and cheery vibe of the place; it just makes me happy. I’m not an artist per se but I love the fun pen selection (teachers love us some pens!) and all the stationery. The classes always sound so fun, so again, wish I still lived close enough to take them.
