I HIGHLY recommend you make Indian Express Sanford your next takeout meal. They are a family owned business that have been open for about 6 months and I found them today on St. John’s parkway just off of Rhineheart Rd. The food was fresh and so delicious! They are a takeout only spot and you can order ahead online or via delivery apps, but I decided to walk in. Sneha took my order (which took a short 15-20 minutes to come out) and was happy to chat with me about the history of their business, Sanford, favorite dishes and gave me the scoop on some things to come. If Sneha and the food are any indication, Indian Express has a bright future in Sanford! My go to meal anytime I try a new Indian Restaurant is Butter Chicken (medium) Vegetable Samosas and garlic naan. I’ll let the pictures below do most of the talking, but WOW I enjoyed everything very much (yes that garlic naan smells and tastes as good as it looks.) I frequent 5th Element and Royal Rosoi (Sanford/Lake Mary) and I have to say that this was the best I’ve had in the area by a mile. The portion sizes were generous and a great value. I was pretty hungry and still had some left over when I was full. I could happily have split an entree with my wife, but the samosas are mine! 😂 I will absolutely be back soon. Great experience!

I went to Avalon body works (see review) and after wards investigated Indian Express. In a word “fabulous “. The wait staff was spearheaded by a young lady who is the daughter of the cook ( owner ? ). She was extremely professional and accommodating. The food was amazing and tasted deliciously fresh and juicy. I think the pics will tell the best story. I must make Indian express as a go to and a regular stop on my way home from Sanford

My dish was chicken masala with garlic nan bread which it’s my favorite dish. I got it for only me and it was alooottt and the price is so affordable with a high quality food and all what i can say is it was PERFECT ❤️ i really loved it and the service is amazing ❤️the first picture is when i got it and the last picture when im so full and yet i still have alot left 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO STOP AND TRY✨❤️

Amazing takeout - Great quality, flavors as needed and the food is fairly genuine too. Takeout only place. Worth the drive! Ordered twice - once - Rice with Chicken Vindaloo (Hot) and Garlic Naan with Butter Chicken and the second time just butter chicken with regular naan and Gulab Jamun. Every single item that we have had thus far has been amazing! Keep it up!

Food was delicious - chicken tikka, lamb tikka masala, aloo gobi, naan. Only takeout. We will definitely be back. They forgot to put the raita sauce in order but we’re quick to apologize and credit for next visit.

I tried out Indian Express today since my friend recommended this place, indeed, here is the best Indian restaurant in town. You need to try it if you haven't yet. Authentic taste, great service, and good price! I will definately come back here again.

This restaurant is only for take-out food. The samosas and chicken curry that I ordered were perfectly spiced and really tasty. My order was prepared and ready on time, and I will definitely go back there again.

Indian express has the best food! We have ordered from them for house parties more than 10 times and the guests love their food! Rees Fernandez is wonderful and always accommodates us by adding Punjabi taste to many of our dishes. I highly recommend them for your parties or for family dinners.
