👍👍 My chicken udon was ready in 2 minutes! Hot and perfect bouncy noodles. Lean chicken meat. Yam tempura took a little longer but was yummy also and very inexpensive. Super clean place. Friendly staff. I'm surprised this place wasn't more busy! People often mention udon, time, good, delicious, beef, amazing, Udon,

sushi restaurants are all over, but a good udon and ramen is rare. we were lucky to find ippinn during our day trip to santa rosa. let’s start with the rice bowl. we had a colorfully delicious salmon rice bowl. the eggs were perfect. a thicker cut of salmon would be wonderful though. next, we had charsiu udon. the soup base tasted so rich and good. the charsiu was very flavourful and tender and we love the parsley or coriander in it! when you put parsley into piping hot soup, all the flavours and aroma will just burst out. are you salivating now? :D and not to forget, all udon and ramen are made in house

As a Chinese person I’m surprised that I can find pretty genuine scallion cake (called roll cake here) in Santa Rosa. The potstickers are good too. I may try their udon next time haha

This place is marvelous. The vibe is great with detailed decoration from wooden furnitures to serving bowls. You might be surprised that this is not the traditional udon taste, in fact every dish has an underlying technique of Vietnamese cooking. But good food is good food, the noodle texture is particularly solid. I had the curry beef udon and I downed it to the last drop. The stirred fried udon is highly recommended as well. The dumplings soup might be over simplistic but I do enjoy the high quality filling. Cheers!

I stopped by Ippinn in Santa Rosa while on vacation and was surprised to come across this hidden gem for dinner. This restaurant has many options for noodle soup, donburi (rice bowls), and tempura. My family enjoyed the food a lot and we came here to eat twice during our vacation. I recommend the tonkotsu ramen with a little hot sauce (available next to the cash register). Others in my group enjoyed the Japanese curry, pork rice bowl, and sweet potato tempura. I’m looking forward to coming back in the future!

First time eating in here and I would absolutely order takeout or dine in again. Super friendly staff, delicious food and tea. It was quite busy and it's kinda a narrow building, but once seated there was no problem. Chicken yaki udon pictured with boiled egg. So many veggies!! Yum.

Ordered Ippin Ban Ban to go. It was great! Chinese style mala soup plus japanese chashu pork. You can even see them make fresh noodles at the restaurant. Recommended!

I had been eyeing this place for months when I would pass it by on the bus. The location is quite ideal. Its in a little outlet area with other places to eat like Wingstop, Mombo’s pizza, and Subway. There’s even a barber shop and a college campus market. It’s right across the street from the Santa Rosa Jr. College. It’s definitely in a spot surrounded by life. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals very much. The menu was really easy to read as they have a large printed one on the front windows of their building. My friend had gotten the 1. The curry chicken udon and I got the 15. Beef Yaki Udon. It was so tasty! The only comment my friend had about the curry dish was to cook the carrots a little bit longer as they were crunchier than expected. The Beef Udon had a lot of veggies. Another note I had was more about the interior. Installing a large mirror at the end of the wall and above the last table I think would create an effect of making the place look larger. I wouldn’t explain the service as a typical American restaurant where you sit down and they take your order. You get a tray and order at the register in the front and then you choose your table and sit down. Even when you are finished with your meal you get up and put it at the window for the dishwasher to take. There was a woman at the register I wish I got her name, but she was very nice and had a warm energy to her. I also like how the workers don’t rush you out the door and actually let you take time with your meal. I had asked a friendly customer enjoying their meal for their opinion on this place and they had said they get something different every time they go there and it all tastes good. They even travel 30 minutes just to eat at this place. The parking lot can be busy at times, but there is still enough spaces for people hanging out there. It is handicapped accessible and kid friendly. I am an Asian food lover and this is now considered one of my favorite places to eat! It is a little pricey for only 2 people, but the quality wins on this one. If you’re craving for Asian gourmet food with lots of quality, go eat there! —————————————————————————— I disliked their teriyaki chicken donburi. The rice tasted rubbery and the chicken tasted like they warmed it up in the microwave.

Definitely recommended for everyone who go to Santa Rosa or pass by to Napa valley! We found Ippinn Udon & Tempura from an app called Red(xiaohongshu). Udon tastes amazing! We ordered Tonkotsu udon and beef fried udon, taste great! Servers are super nice.

Excellent food, authentic feel. I was really excited when I first walked in to find my regular spot. Unfortunately, they were busy or there must have been a mix up with my food because people who walked in 20 minutes after me got their food first. No ‘sorry’ or, ‘can we offer you an appetizer to make it right.’ Still, 5 stars because the food was unlike anything I’ve tried anywhere else and I understand things happen, but I think I’m gonna try a different place next time.

Yum! Perfect cold weather food. I only minused one star because the broth surprisingly needed a tad more flavor and the spring rolls, though fresh and texture wise amazing, needed a little something to bump up the flavor. My daughter and I had an overall great meal.

New favorite restaurant in Santa Rosa! Can’t believe it took me this long to find it. Imagine being teleported to a cozy Tokyo restaurant in Northern California! It’s that good and authentic.

Great experience. We spent a bit of time there playing games that we brought and eating amazing food. Definitely want to try one of their udon dishes next time. Would definitely recommend! Shoot for 4:30 PM to avoid the dinner rush

I really really like this place! I ordered shoyu udon with pork belly and my husband ordered spicy miso udon and beef. My pork belly was so soft and tender and my broth was so tasty! My husband like his spicy miso, though it was too spicy for his liking. He recommends ordering just miso by itself and just add some hot sauce that they have. Overall, it was tasty and beef was so tender! The udon noodles are so chewy! I love it! ❤️

Delicious Tonkotsu Ramen Wow! The ramen remind me the amazing food I had when I traveled to Japan years ago. Tonkotsu broth was delicious and rich, chashu pork was perfectly done and the noodles were next level. Highly reccomended!

Great food and great service !! Every time we step food inside we are greeted by the owner who never fails to say hello to me and my girlfriend. The Curry Udon and the potstickers are always delicious. Owner always checks in with us to make sure we are enjoying our meal. Highly recommend this place!

There's literally nothing I could nitpick about this place. Got the spicy beef udon. I ordered, sat down and 30 seconds later there was food, utensils and napkins in front of me. Perfectly cooked, bouncy, springy and chewy noodles in a light yet flavorful broth with a healthy serving of fall-apart-tender beef on top. Even better is that the bowl of udon and a Calpico was under $20. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Food here never disappoints. They offer dine in now, so you get plastic to go bowls, still very nice presentation. The first two photos are what my food looked liked after the pandemic and the other photos were before the pandemic. They also kept their prices low. By far my favorite udon shop

I ordered curry tofu udon and the veg spring roll. The food is just amazing. I don’t remember stopping even for a bit after I started eating. The owner is really nice and sweet too ♥️

Absolutely delicious! First time trying udon and I expected it to taste similar to pho, and was right. The shrimp spring rolls were so fresh and delicious, I just wish they had an option for a 1/2 order.
