We were looking for something that wasn't too upscale (aka requiring fancy clothes) but also we wanted something fancier than a burger/pizza joint. Oolong hit the spot! The booths were a great place to tuck away and have great conversation over delicious food. This is the perfect place to take a best friend or groups of 4 or less so you can fit in the booths. The Pad Thai was great. You can order the level of spiciness that you prefer. The sake flight was a treat. The white peach chilled sake was a hit and went down smoothly!

This was a nice experience. Different from the other restaurants here. The service was nice and she was very friendly. You have metered parking so take that into consideration when coming here. Definitely want to come back and try something else here.

Nice atmosphere and food was pretty good. Gone there many times for the milk tea (+ popping boba). Server was nice and the food didn't take too long

I'm happy when I can order Thai food with spicy heat. My meal of Thai Red Curry (hot) didn't disappoint! It was delicious and nicely spicy. I'll be sure to go back to try other menu items. The restaurant is small but has a nice decor with sparkling glass lanterns that look way better in person than on my photos. It's really classy!

Our first time there, and will gladly return soon!! Really fresh and fast and tasty!! BBQ bun was nice appetizer. I had Thai Curry with green curry and chicken, husband had red curry soup with shrimp, excellent taste for everything and lots of veggies!! On the street parking meters. Love the unique toilet sign!! Check it out when you are in downtown Dubuque!!

The restaurant is beautifully themed, playing some very nice, calm music. The staff was EXCELLENT! Service was fast and the wait staff polite and accommodating! The food? The food is where the magic is! We each ordered something different so we could try it all. We started with Lobster Rangoon and Sechwan Spicy Dumplings. Both were delicious. My son and I tried both and agreed the lobster Rangoon was the best Rangoon we've had! We ordered Pho, Pad Thai with chicken, medium heat and Japenese Stir-Fry Udon with chicken and broccoli. We all cleaned our plates/bowls, everything was absolutely delicious! If you are in the area, you MUST stop in for dinner. You will NOT be disappointed!

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Have eaten there approximately 6x so far. Plan to eat there next Thursday night again as well. Have pretty much had the whole menu ss far. Have NOT HAD ONE BAD THING 2 EAT...NOT ONCE!!! Absolutely in love with their spring rolls. Could definitely live on those every day and still love them!!! I'm NOT a tea person by any means, but I do LOVE the hot peach tea the have. It's beyond delicious!! I have also had all their pot stickers/dumplings. Mouthwatering amazing. All the varieties...just delicious!! It's a gold nugget of a find. Just a wonderful secret.

This was such a fun surprise!! I am from areas rich with East Asian food and was not expecting to find delicious Vietnamese food in Dubuque—I was happily surprised. The pho was delicious. The dumplings were tasty as well, though a bit on the oilier side. Would have preferred slightly less of that. The service was great. Efficient and kind. Overall, a great experience! I’d def it wily recommend.

We had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was amazing and the menu had a great variety of selections. The atmosphere was also great as the place was well decorated and very clean and tidy. I highly recommend the spring roll appetizer. I ordered it as my meal since I wanted something light, and they were the perfect choice.

The atmosphere was peaceful and tasteful. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal! The crab rangoons are the best I've had... And I've had a lot in my life! Treat yourself and visit this great restaurant! Oh, and my 3 year old wanted to point out that they do not have urinals or a stool to stand on at the sink. He announced this by yelling it across the restaurant 🤦😆

Clean restaurant, friendly staff and great food. As other reviews have stated.... the food is spicy. I typically order hot at places and like more heat. Ordered medium and it was hellahot and I liked it a lot. Not sure I could've handled the hot! We have the lobster rangoon, spring rolls, and curry. Everything was great. We got there before 5. Served immediately. It was an enjoyable experience.

End of summer weekend in town, had pad tai. It was so good we had it two times in a row! No leftovers..Also a must try are spring rolls, dumplings and lobster rangoons. Fast service with a smile, bathrooms very clean. We will be back! Also stayed at H unit around the corner. Loved the lodging!

We really enjoyed our dinner. Would highly recommend and we will be back. The Thai Basil Stir-Fry (medium) was amazing! I could’ve eaten a giant bowl full of the Pandan Coconut Rice Pudding…yum!

Some days you get lucky. And stopping for lunch at Oolong was a most fortunate occasion. First time here and we will be back. It’s not easy finding authentic Asian cuisine in Northeast Iowa, but these folks are a treasure worth a trek. Food, service, and facility all peg the quality meter. My Pad Thai rivaled anything I’ve had around the world in places where they didn’t speak English. My medium heat choice was rich and flavorful without overpowering the fresh ingredients. The plentiful fresh crisp bean sprouts and a subtle peanut sauce that did not dominate this classic dish made it an instant hit with me. My wife had a green curry with vegetables. Perfect! Her mild spice was still flavorful, but gentle out here in a part of the world where folks still often consider dill an aggressive seasoning. ;) The vegetables and generous Asian rice were perfectly al dente. The eclectic pan Asian menu appears simple at first, but the myriad of variations offered by our wait staff were as diverse and alluring as Asia itself. Get out of the burger and bar food box and give Oolong a try. On-street parking just a bit off the center of downtown Dubuque is plentiful. This is a no regrets real deal kind of place hidden here in the Heartland.

I came in here with my sister and friend, who were hyping this place up so much; they weren't kidding. I had ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp, it was delicious and a lot of food. It is a little on the pricey side, so budget to your needs. As many have said, the ambience of the place is great. Although, the food did take a while to come out, it didn't matter, the atmosphere was very pleasant, that time seems irrelevant. Overall good place to eat and great atmosphere.

We stopped here for a snack after the farmers market and really liked it! The restaurant was so cute, the lights were neat. We had the dumpling duo (2 different kinds) deep fried and lobster rangoon. Both were delicious and flavorful with yummy dipping sauces. The lobster rangoon was a nice change from the typical crab rangoons. We would definitely stop again if we were in the area!
