Wow, what a nice surprise to find in our neighborhood. Legit and DELICIOUS Ukrainian food! The dumplings were delicious. Such good bread. Then the borscht, OMG, just the right chunkiness, with a pork rib that was to-die-for tender and delicious. Alas, our only disappointment was we were so full from that the main dishes and borscht, we could not try the delicious looking deserts. But, we did bring home an order of beef cabbage rolls (those, unfortunately are only available frozen, to go). The inside is cozy and friendly, whereas the outdoor patio is a nice setting, too. They also do catering, which I am excited to find a reason to use!

Enjoyed a genuinely fantastic meal on a brunch date with a friend. My favorite was varenyky with potatoes and my friend got the cabbage version. Both were delicious, well-seasoned, fresh and warm. Came with sour cream. Perfect comfort food. Also, ordered two nice hot lattes and Napoleon cake. I really loved the handmade look of the clay/stone mugs and plates! Very charming, very clean, a rustic-chic atmosphere. Reminiscent of a cottage in the Ukrainian countryside, the interior was accented with wooden decor, dried flowers/plants, wicker basket light fixtures, and lovely patterned tiling. Easy parking, great area. Service: Our servers were wonderful, very warm and helpful with recommendations. 10/10 will come back again.

We just had the best time at this small Ukrainian diner! It's the coziest place ever, and the staff is so nice and friendly. But most importantly food—wow! The Ukrainian cuisine they serve is absolutely delicious. We had the most amazing dumplings that left me craving for more. Seriously, I can still taste them in my mouth! Check out this place. You won't regret it!

I haven’t had Ukrainian food since I was about 12yrs old. This made me feel like a child again eating food my Grandmother/Grandfather would have. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was chill and cozy like being in your home. Staff is great, friendly, genuine. I’ll def be back.

Very tasty with everything! Incredibly cool atmosphere, friendly and good-natured staff. My favorite is blinchiki with meat and mushrooms. It's a heartbreak - how delicious. I recommend to all! The best Ukrainian restaurant! Слава Україні! 🇺🇦

I was working out at the gym and I drove past this place. I wanted to try it out. From looking at the menu I could already tell that there were options that I would enjoy. The lady at the counter told me to get the dumplings with potatoes in it and a mushroom sauce. I love mushrooms, so I knew that I would like this dish. Everybody needs to try this dish. I can’t wait to come back and try other options.

Really enjoyed our dine in meal. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very tasty. They also have frozen food options to go. Service was very friendly. Replaced a food item when it came out with nuts that I was allergic to (but didn't seem listed on the menu) without any hesitation. Prices were a little more expensive than other Eastern European restaurants I've tried in LA, but makes sense given the location. About $16-22 per plate. Parking was a challenge. There's disability parking right in front but otherwise seems street parking is the only choice. Although we parked in guest parking in one of the garages (not sure if that was allowed).

Ukrainian dumplings and pizza spot in Playa. Came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner with a couple of other friends and there was no wait for a table. Indoor and outdoor seating is available but note that it’s an intimate space. There is street parking available but you might need to park a couple of blocks away if you don’t see any close to the apartment building that this restaurant is located in. We got an order of the varenky with cottage cheese, the mushroom pizza, and the crepes with chicken and mushrooms. Three dishes were a good amount for the three of us to share. You order at the counter first and pay, then they’ll bring your food out to you. The varenky was interesting; it’s good for vegetarians as well. The mushroom pizza was thin crust and had a nice umami flavor. The crepes were my favorite. They look like little burritos and have a nice sauce on top. This spot seemed to be more takeout focused, but more people came to dine in later in the evening.
