Very interesting place if you are remotely interested in Nascar Racing or the history of racing in general. They have a ton of cars, lots of memorabilia and a great deal of machinery that shows how they designed and developed the cars. It would be a good day out for kids of all ages. The price of the tickets are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. There is a store to buy anything to do with racing you could wish. There is no food on site, I would recommend a local BBQ place nearby as you are in the BBQ capital of the US!

We checked out the RCR museum and race shops during a day trip to the Charlotte area. Very nice experience and a ton of cool displays and memorbilia to peruse. Definitely worth the price of admission!

This was one of the coolest racing museums ever. They have so much stuff it's crazy. Their is even a section that showcases his hunting. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

Such and amazing place. You can see how close Mr. Childress and Earnheart were. It's more of a memorial to a best friend that anything. A place you can visit more than once.

Nascar country!!!! If you're a fan of RCR racing, Dale Earnhardt Sr. or Nascar you need to stop by this museum. The collection of Earnhardt cars is amazing. Take a walk through racing history, from RCR racings humble beginnings to multiple championships, make the journey, it's worth it....

If you're a racing fan, this is a must stop. So much history in such a cool layout. Wish we could have seen the current cars being built but the museum was more than enough.

Attended an event here that a relative was in. I did not make it to the museum but it was still amazing. The event was Letters From Home for the Veterans. The room they hosted it in was nicer than most meeting rooms in luxury hotels.

This was a bucket list stop for me being a huge Dale Earnhardt fan, I didn't think it was gonna make me emotional but it did. So many original cars here. Some the same chassis out back like they were and some just like they came off the track.

This is a great place to visit whether you was a Dale Sr. Fan or not. You get to tour a transporter and sit in a race car at no extra cost. A lot of the nuts and bolts of the cars.

What a great place if you're a fan of RCR. It brought back memories as I was a Dale Earnhardt fan since the beginning. I was in my own world as I walked around even though I was with family.

I have visited the RCR Racing Museum multiple times, I try to go every time I travel through the area. The history of Dale Earnhardt & the RCR Organization is on display and can easily take a couple hours to see everything. A must see for any Dale Earnhardt fan.

As a Dale Earnhardt Sr fan, this is a must see. I found this museum, Dale's former race shop, accidentally and it filled my heart with joy. It checked off a bucket list item I didn't know I had. Outstanding!

Amazing shop and the experience is well worth it. See the old shop at the museum and how cars were built. Ran into Andy Petree and he was kind enough to say hello when I can only imagine how busy he is. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and I even said hello with out my wife and they still said hello back 😂. Inside joke with Andy. Thanks everyone, can't wait to see you all at Darlington.

A must do when in Charlotte area. Cost children under 6 free. Adults 10.00 seniors 8.00 and children over 7 is 5.00. This museum is very nice. Does a great job respectful of Dale Earnhardt time racing for RCR. All current and past race drivers. Give yourself 3 hrs for the museum. Not able to see shop area or pit stop practice like other race shops. Nice large gift shop area price resemble.

Spent the morning with my son on Veterans Day. They allowed us both in at no charge. The museum was great and they also allowed us to tour the new race shop down the street. Very state of the art facility. Lots of Racing history in both places. Worth the trip

I really try not to post negative reviews but. You might want to call before you go. We drove several hours to visit, only to be told we could not come in because they were cleaning. Several other people were turned away because Richards Front Desk felt like going home early, and didn't want to take out money that day. Thanks for nothing...

My brother and me were here about 4 or 5 years ago from Charlotte. We walked through, but after seeing this video, we didn't see a lot of the things shown here. We didn't see the car hauler and all the #3 cars shown here. Were they added later? We did meet Mike Dillon and Chocolate Myers, both very gracious ... but I feel I cheated myself... Did I? Next time I'll ask questions on how to walk through. Nobody's fault except my own ...This place here looks new, when did it open? The first time I was here, mid 90's, crossed the RR tracks and walked in, then got a guided tour through the shop. What happened to the Earnhardt wrecked car where he got out of the ambulance and drove back to the pits? Thanks ...

I decided to stop here and check out all of the Dale Earnhardt cars, I'm glad I did. Saw his Daytona 500, Brickyard and Winston 500 No Bull win cars plus many other themed versions he raced over the year.
