Dr Welter is a wonderful, caring person. He is very thorough, takes his time and is very kind. My 17 yr old broke his leg, Dr Welter did his major surgery and the follow up has been wonderful. Would definitely recommend him!

I went to see Dr. Welter for a second opinion on a years long knee issue... The previous orthopedic office I saw went back and forth on what was wrong and eventually said it was one, sole issue and there was literally nothing at all that they could do and told me I just had to live with chronic pain. However, Dr. Welter came in with a friendly, humorous demeanor and was able to quickly find multiple issues in my knee. The diagnosis was based off a recent MRI the last ortho ordered and a thorough exam. Dr. Welter fully explained the issues, what they meant and what non-surgical things we could try. I was able to ask questions without feeling rushed or belittled. I really appreciated not getting the brush off as well as learning there is hope for a "fix". Taking the non-surgical approach first was also appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Welter to anyone needing orthopedic care. He's the best!

Dr Welter is a wonderful doctor, and human being. I always feel genuinely cared about at every visit including the very first one. Even when the office is overwhelmed and the waiting room is full, Dr Welter still takes the time to be sure that my questions are answered, and listens to all of my concerns. He is also always very pleasant to spend the time with. The surgery he performed for me was quick. I had full range of motion as soon as the nerve block wore off. Pain was very minimal. 10/10, Dr Welter is amazing. The clinic staff are also all wonderful people to have on my care team.

Not only is Dr. Welter an excellent surgeon, he and his team are also great at assisting his patients through the hurdles of recovery. These days it helps if patients prepare ahead of appointments, with questions at the ready, because as we know all too well, insurance decrees how long the the docs can spend with us. Dr. Welter answers all questions succinctly and in understandable terminology. I could not ask for more in a physician of any specialty.
