What a gem! 30 years in collier county and I finally went to our local theater. A group of us got together to see our fabulous Naples Players in the show Chicago. The theater is just an exceptional facility. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful venue for our community theater. Now to the details - There is free valet service behind the theater on 4th Avenue South and garage parking adjacent to the theater, so no worries about walking or inclement weather. There is a concession stand and I know this is not news, but it is nice not to be charged $5.00 for a bottle of water or cup of coffee. I dont know if it is standard, but when we were there they offered an order ahead option so you don't have to wait in line at intermission. They had our orders ready for us off to the side for quick pickup. I have been to other community theaters in other cities and I must say this is a beautiful place. It may be smaller but the service provided and the whole experience is equivalent to what I have received at Barbara B. Mann and the Phil. The theater itself was very nice and comfortable. The lighting and sound were excellent and I cannot say enough about the talented performers. You will be amazed over and over again as you must constantly remind yourself that these are volunteers They put their time and talent together for our enjoyment. They perform and conduct themselves like professionals and the talent is through the roof! They do it for the love of the craft and their passion is evident.

Here for The Sound of Music. Have always loved the outdoor area but the theatre is lovely! Comfortable, small enough for a personal experience. Performers are wonderful!

Love going to live theater! My best friend and l usually enjoy going together. (Social distancing is in place for those wondering.) If you get a chance, go see a play and support the Sugden. It's community theater at its finest!

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! My mother, daughter, and I went to see “into the woods” last week, and WOW!! What a performance, and oh my goodness, what amazing talent kids all had!! And, even with the temporary change in venue, they have created an amazing set, we felt completely immersed in the story with the characters all around, and I just can’t say enough of the absolute talent and consistent composure these talented, young actors and actresses of this performance!! Within the first couple minutes of the show starting the three of us, looked at each other, all already completely blown away at the realization of what a wonderful performance we had ahead of us that with the Naples Players! 🤩 they absolutely did not disappoint, what a wonderful performing arts company! I look forward to seeing another show very soon!!

Nice venue, no bad seats in the house. Valet parking was reasonable at 5.00 and was needed for the early show. It was extremely busy and street parking was nonexistent. The show we saw was great fun and I liked the acoustics. I will certainly be back again.

A few days ago, I saw the last show, The Sound of Music, before the demolition part of the renovation starts. Two years ago, I saw Mamma Mia, and I had a wonderful time at both. I am looking forward to seeing the finished theatre, and I look forward to seeing the actors/actresses put on a wonderful performance once again.
