You walk up to the food bar, big red bowl in hand, and begin the exciting task of cramming the plentiful options of fresh ingredients to make your customized meal into the bowl. Noodles and veggies and many proteins start to stack perilously high as you move along the line adding more and more to the pile that is now towering above the brim of the bowl. Then, like a wizard brewing a potion, you stand before the sauce station, gazing at the recipes listed as inspiration for your concoction. Ladle upon ladle, you carefully mix the flavors until you reach that pinnacle of perfection. Then unto the masters of the Mongolian grill you bestow your behemoth of a bowl, where they bring your creation to life. You watch in awe as the steam rises from the massive circular grill. Gathered around it are several cooks, all using special, long wooden tools to masterfully manipulate your meal, adding an egg or two according to your wishes. The finished product is well worth the journey. Dining here is not only a delicious meal, but a fun and fabulous experience! 10/10 recommend!!

I love the variety of the ingredients. I've been here twice now and everything was very fresh both times. I really enjoy the sauces and seasonings available after you fill your bowl. You can really customize the taste of your dish. I haven't seen that at some other places I've been. One great thing is how you're in total control of every ingredient. If you want 50% water chestnuts, go for it! If you've been to a Mongolian Barbecue, you know exactly how it works. If you haven't, you really need to.

This place was recommended by a friend. My overall thought was pretty good. The food was well cooked and prepared well. Although I thought the suaces were a bit watered down; but not bad taste! The meat is frozen and shaved very thin, so increase your intake on the meat part; do recommend to add another bowl for an extra $2.00! Well worth it, and decent amount of food, even thou I have to drive 1.5 hrs to get there!

The Poke Pirate has merged with this business. Both were great on their own but are even better together. This is an awesome family owned business. All of the food is fresh and the restaurant is very clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. If you get lucky you mught get to meet Charlie. He is very comical. If you like to create yoyr own dish this is your place. Dont be afraid to experiment. Best Mongolian restaurant in the tri-state area.

Very similar to Hu Hot Mongolian Grill and just as wonderful. So many options to build your own bowl! Each bowl is $13 and take home what you don't finish. Or get unlimited for $16 but no take home. Will definitely eat here again!

Love the concept and the meal was good. Prices are great for what you get! My sauce choices were a little off because it's hard to decide what to pick. Service was good, we would go back!

Wow!!! This was my first time! What a selection of veggies, meats, and carbs! I loved creating my own sauce. I didn't know how it was going to taste, but it was phenomenal!!!! The guys at the grill cooking my food made it look so easy. The place was super clean! I DEFINITELY will come back!

Nothing better than spend $35 for 3 meals that were dry and bland. Lvl 1 heat is still quite spicy and if you order a white rice base….expect no base and a side of rice. The online order offers no help is building as no description is given of sauces. If it says optional, I assume it is needed. This is an expensive food to keep guessing and in hopes something is tasty.

Great food. This place has nothing to do with the TV show. Or Mongolia. Or BBQ. I'm admittedly confused. Delicious, satisfying, possibly healthy-ish confusion.

I love that you can pick whatever you want and they will cook it for you. In the end, the food tastes great. Although results may vary since it would be the customer's decision, rather than the restaurants, on how the plate is assembled. The service is good. I've met the owner. He's very nice. The price is rather high however because the customer can build their bowl however they want and can put as much as they want in their bowl. I understand the price. I noticed broccoli tends to be undercooked slightly. A minor inconvenience but nothing major. If you are a customer who complains about how the food tastes you cannot blame anyone but yourself because you made it. Don't give them any trouble unless your food is undercooked.

Truly a gem. Pile your bowl full of your preferred ingredients and they are cooked to flavorful perfection right in front of you.... true bliss!

Mr. Charlie does a fantastic job as always. He has really stepped up his game with this new restaurant. It is clean and very modern. (And cool music playing too!) So many options to choose from! Helpful hints for the sauces too. Folks, you need to understand something. Mr. Charlie's mission is to keep the Mongolian grill food healthy. He is trying not to use the heavy oils that are used in typical American Chinese food. If your food turns out too dry from the grill, I recommend using more sesame oil next time. I think you'll find that practice makes perfect. No dessert on the food tables? Again, this is not a Chinese buffet. (Thank goodness) Dessert is what we call your second bowl at the grill. Besides, this is how you perfect your recipe. Practice makes perfect! Lastly, don't be surprised that your grill chefs may be Latino. Charlie has done that for years and other places do as well. They do a fine job. I always say gracias to them. They will ask you if you want egg cooked with your meal. Its a grill thing. You'll find egg offered at many Mongolian grills. Mr. Charlie taught me a game at his grill. Learn to say thank you in other languages. It has helped me in life. And new imigrants always appreciate when you attempt to speak their language. I always practice my Spanish at his grill with the chefs. Mr. Charlie often speaks Spanish with me when I see him. I joked that now I always want to speak Spanish with Chinese restaurant workers.😁 I hope you get to meet one of Evansville's most unique and likable people: Mr. Charlie! If you are passing through town, quench your hunger here. I travelled all the way from Michigan to do so, if that tells you anything!

DELICIOUS!!! Pick out your food, put it in a bowl, make your own sauce to have it cooked in and take it to get cooked. I will DEFINITELY be back! Drive all the way to Evansville, from Madisonville, KY, to eat there.

Delicious food. Staff was very curteuous. Build your own noodle bowl was amazing. You filled first your noodles, then your veggies, then add in protein, make your sauce out of the options, and then they grill it for you with an egg. Amazing place especially as they do offer all you can eat or a build noodle bowl

Best restaurant to eat from in my opinion. The choices are there, along with personalized flavoring. Best choice for healthy options while enjoying great flavors. Staff is on point and friendly atmosphere that can cater to anyone of any age

The spicy salmon nori tacos are hands down AMAZING. Also, the ramon options are unique and delicious. My husband and I both love ordering off the menu, but also the grill is great for picky eaters!

They recently added Poke and Ramen to their menu and it’s wonderful! We always went for the stir fry which is still great for the value. Friendly staff Andrew quick service!

best place to eat in the entire Evansville area, great cooks, amazing choice and variety. The one critique I have is that it can be just a little confusing for first time people who think they are going to tell the workers that they are going to use the bowl instead of just ordering. other than that the best place to go in Evansville and the surrounding cities, a longtime customer and will always return without a doubt in my mind.
