I got back from my trip and got busy with work and missed my opportunity on AirBnB to write a review… my parents and I came for some dark sky viewing and my mother’s birthday and we had such a wonderful time! I’ve gone back home and recommended this place to literally everyone. Shannon and her husband were so responsive and accommodating— don’t even get me started on the breakfasts!!! I don’t know what I was expecting but my experience certainly exceeded it. We were sorry to leave and hoping to visit again soon. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Very unique stay, beautiful land, secluded but within driving distance to stuff. It was an awesome weekend and I LOVED IT.

Trout fishing trip put together by Chagrin River Outfitters where we stayed at the First Fork Lodge. First rate accommodations and meals and Jason and Shannon are great hosts. Can’t wait to go back there!

This is an absolute must go destination! It's veteran owned and operated, and the lodge is perfectly suited on the river and inside a quaint little town. The house is decorated expertly in different themes for every room but the food is what you'll remember. If you're hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking, or even road tripping near First Fork, do yourself a favor and stay for a night or two.

Just returned from another stay at the First Fork Lodge in the course of a fishing trip with a group of friends from Chagrin River Outfitters. Always feels like returning home to family, the owners, Jason and Shannon, provide great hospitality, meals, and comfort for their guests. I leave looking forward to the next trip.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! The new owners, Jason and Shannon, were phenomenal hosts.The Lodge was very clean and decorated nicely. They were also very accommodating with my food allergies. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you. We are already looking forward to returning.

I can’t say enough nice stuff about the lodge and it’s owners. My work brought me to the area and they picked the First Fork for me. Jason and Shannon made me feel like part of their family. The room was clean and breakfast was fantastic! A bonus for me was a pub that reopened in walking distance. Thank you First Fork Lodge for a great experience!

We stayed here after our cherry spring park trip, the lodge was lovely and all light up at night so you don’t have to worry about finding them. The house is beautifully decorated inside and the room Is cute, comfy and clean. The breakfast is wonderful too!

First Fork lodge is a great B & B. I love staying there. We met Shannan and her son and daughter. Looking forward meeting her husband. Shannan served us a delicious breakfast. I recommend staying here and recommend doing it often. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for everything you did for our stay.
