Our experience with SWA Watersports was absolutely incredible! My friends and I rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours and their team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when helping us book our rental. We even called ahead the day before to see if we could extend our rental and they flexed their schedules to make it work for us. It was my first time driving a boat and I felt totally comfortable thanks to their expert instruction (and the fact that they drive the boat on and off the dock for you). Absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for boat rentals in Tahoe!

Our wedding party (25 people) recently rented three boats from SWA; two pontoon boats and a Cobalt. All the boats were in great shape and performed well. We drove down to Emerald Bay, anchored off the island and had a great day of swimming, picnicking and boating fun. We had an amazing day. All of the crew at SWA were amazing. They were efficient and extremely professional as well as friendly and helpful. Many thanks to the crew at SWA. You’ll be the first company any of us will call in the future.

Very happy with our rental. Brad was so helpful in answering all my questions over the phone prior to booking and Ian was great in going over the boat particulars and getting us set up on the water. We booked the 21’ Chaparral (3 passengers) for 4 hours and it was the perfect amount of time to cruise down to Emerald Bay and then do some tubing on the way back. We anchored right off Fannette island, then swam over and explored the island. Super fun morning!

We had a fantastic afternoon on a pontoon boat from these folks and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Lauren is amazing, she dove into the lake to retrieve sunglasses I dropped in there! And the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, can’t recommend enough

We had a wonderful time with Brettt as our captain. I would highly recommend SWA. Brettt asked what we wanted to do. We left it up to him and were super happy with the four hour tour of the lake.

My family and I were planning to meet from different corners of the US for a Labor Day vacation at Lake Tahoe, and from the minute we talked with Gerald, he was extremely helpful, prompt, full of great information and tips about the lake and surrounding areas, and guided us regarding boat choices based on our needs, not pricing, etc. He was flexible with us, talked through so many contingency plans, and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately, the fires in Tahoe forced us to cancel the trip, and upon hearing about our cancellation, the SWA Watersports team immediately refunded our full deposit, no questions asked. It was such a relief and he was incredibly easy to work with! When our family can make the trip out next year, we will absolutely be booking with SWA Watersports!

We contacted SWA Watersports for a last minute rental on some jet skis for our lakefront vacation rental Gerald the owner called back right away & was able to accommodate us on super short notice. He & his crew delivered/picked up which was super convenient! Gerald even called us during our rental to give us a heads up on some wind coming in so if we needed to go get gas to go earlier in the day. It was a great experience all around will definitely use them again when we come back next year ;-)!!!

First off you cannot find a nice group of people to rent from. The staff is friendly, great with kids, and tones of parking. Gerald and his SWA crew are awesome! I have rented in the past from SWA. The boat was ready on time, the boat is very clean, and the boat is totally equipped with everything needed. This year I took two families (9 people total). Gerald made sure we had the appropriate life vests for the kids and the adults. They provide us with the inner tube and the staff gave very clear and concise instructions on how to properly attach the tube onto the back of the boat. The boat worked flawlessly and we had such a fantastic day. All I can say is I’ll be back next year!
