Choosing Base Entertainment to DJ our wedding was the perfect choice! We had music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From our initial inquiring to making final payments, we were thrilled with the communication from the President Gregg Hollmann along with Christopher(Chris) Smith our phenomenal DJ. Emails were always answered promptly and all of our questions were answered. The process was smooth and everything we needed to do was clearly explained to us. When we met with Chris to go over the online forms and music selections, we felt at ease. His upbeat personality, patience, and kindness made us feel calm as we talked through everything. In meeting Chris it was clear that he took his job seriously. More importantly, Chris shows that he really has a passion for his work. Chris knows how to get everyone out on the dance floor! He knows how to read the room and that honestly enhanced our reception experience. After a speech from a Rutgers Alumni, Chris(without being told to do so) played the Rutgers Fight Song! All of our family and friends joined in! It was simply an incredible moment created by Chris. As the Fight Song concluded, I looked over at my husband and said “Chris is the best DJ! There is no one better.” Not everyone is lucky enough to have a DJ who makes you stop in the middle of your wedding to comment on just how amazing they are! We were so lucky to have Chris! We hired Base Entertainment for our wedding last month and everything was great! We had to plan a wedding in a different state and did not have much time to meet with many of our vendors in person including our DJ. That said Chris was extremely helpful, he was able to walk us through everything that we needed before hand ands as so patient with us as we worked through our playlist and needs. The day of the wedding Chris was extremely flexible, kind, and calm even though we had to pivot on multiple occasions during the night. Our guests had a wonderful time!

Base DJ's are the best! We hired them for our daughter's Sweet 16 party and were very happy with their services. Gregg was very easy to communicate with before and after the event and CJ did a really great job with the music! We received many compliments from our guests. They offer competitive pricing and great customer service. We will definitely use Base for future events!!!

I reached our to Base Entertainment for a charity 5K I was doing and Gregg got back to immediately. He was so easy to work with and was fast to answer all my questions. Gregg was great the day of the event, the music and emceeing was great all day and everyone thought he was the great addition to our event. We will be having him back next year!

We are so glad we went with Base Entertainment for our October 2021 wedding. We even booked with them last minute because our original DJ fell through, and they were very accommodating. We had DJ Christopher Smith (DJ Spinz), and he was very professional from the start. We did a zoom call to talk about our vision for the night, and our specific requests for songs to make the music as personalized as possible. He took the time to learn the pronunciation of names in our bridal party, which meant so much to us. On the day of, DJ Chris was prompt (even with a time change) and played songs from our list, as well as other jams that perfectly meshed with our requests. Our guests were gushing that he was one of the best, if not the best DJ they have ever heard at a wedding. Thank you for making our night extra special, Base Entertainment!

We hired Base DJs for our wedding reception a couple weeks ago; they were not only incredibly professional, but also a ton of fun! They were super responsive and flexible throughout the planning process. The day of our wedding they ensured we didn’t have a thing to worry about and had literally everyone out on the dance floor. I am still getting compliments from guests about the DJs. We also used their photo booth service and their projection equipment for our same day video edit, we were highly satisfied with both.

Base Entertainment recently provided the DJ, MC and Photo Booth Services for a family wedding (Daughter of our Guitar Player). They were outstanding and highly professional. Above all you could see that Austin, Chris and Jeremy all truly cared about making sure our guests were engaged and having a fun time. We also truly appreciate how pleasant and attentive they were to our family members. It was indeed a pleasure and would highly recommend them for future events. I have been to many events that Base Entertainment has been the DJ at and it is always a good time. Rob is very versatile doing many different types of events from weddings to company outings. Dave is an amazing DJ I loved watching him do his thing on the float in the Flemington Parade. Sean is awesome as well. He is always a pleasure to be around and makes the photo booths an amazing experience. Rob keeps all of his equipment up to date and makes sure to keep his staff trained on all the newest techniques. Base Entertainment is a top notch organization and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an entertainment company.
