I went here based on a recommendation of a friend and was really put off by the way I was treated. The person working at the store I interacted with basically treated me like I can’t speak English and said "there must be a problem with our language." I was told I must be having an issue with my vocabulary trying to describe what I’m looking for. Considering I have a graduate degree and was born and raised in the US, I found this very insulting. Seems like a great and conveniently located store, but I’m not sure why you’d treat your customers like that.

Received a quote for and ordered 24' of 1x1x16 gauge steel tubing. When I got there I received my ticket and went to pay, but I noticed the price was significantly above what was on the ticket. When I asked about it the clerk said, "Oh, we didn't have 16 gauge so we had to give you 14 gauge." If I knew they didn't have the size I needed, I would not have wasted my time. The service was fast, but communication and making sure the customer needs were fulfilled left quite a bit to be desired. The cuts were also very sloppy.

Friendly, Helpful, Well stocked. Needed parts not available at Home Depot and Lowe's. Best of all knowledgeable folks to give advice.

This is the bedrock of the survival and resiliency of the sister towns of Lambertville and New Hope. A truly independent store free from the problems and abuses of the large corporate chains. Well stocked and staffed by experienced humans. Never underestimate how important businesses like this are to the community. Oh, yeah they also had what I was looking for.

Finkles is awesome! Their old time look and customer service is top notch. I have been going there for years for both my simple needs (household stuff) and my business needs (hardware). They have always come through. Today, Rachel researched a plumbing need I had and solved my issue....as usual.

I have just purchased flowers from their direct website. I even called to make sure it would be delivered before certain time. Which deff where. I have received what the flowers looked like of course she said they where beautiful. And I was highly disappointed. This is the pic from website which is a deluxe. I have ordered more expensive premium expecting it to be more fuller and more color therfore i have paid more for the premium. What has come looked like standard. Picture looks like 5 roses and 4 carnations just in the front. By purchasing premium i expected more. Instead there where 5 roses in the whole bouquet. Looked mostly yellow. I have called and complained to the shop. Did receive some money back. But the point is. The picture looks totally different. And I expected even more since paying for the best.

Old school hardware store. They have just about everything (except lumber). Super helpful and friendly staff.

I ordered steel from here for a project. I called and spoke to Rachel who let me know a bunch of prices and what steel they could supply me. Once I figured out what I wanted I placed my order and my steel was ready and cut for a small price earlier than expected. Picking it up was super easy and the staff there helped me load my trailer.
