No respect/ concern for the actual patient. Not only would I not recommend, but I would warn people to steer clear of this place. Many years ago, I had seen a great doctor here (during college) when I moved back to the SA area I called up a familiar place for an appointment. The first time, they just lost my appointment - no record of it. OK - things happen no big deal Then when I show up for my “re-scheduled” appointment they set me up with not only somebody different, but a PA. Again, no big deal - it’s just my annual and I wanted to set up a GP. Then a couple things, I specifically asked for them to only run what my annual covers with insurance (got stuck with a huge bill 2 weeks later) Then I got sick, so I immediately called up “my doctor’s office” to see me within the next couple days. They can see me at this date/ time (great! It’s in two days) and guess what I show up and they have NO RECORD of my appointment and by this time, I have already waited a couple days so now it was fairly urgent I see a Dr. Their response? You can go to the urgent clinic! No sympathy, no empathy for the extraordinary fees that come with an urgent clinic visit when it was something that could have easily been resolved. What was really the final straw is that the office manager at this time, retaliated in anger like it was somehow my fault they made an error. On top of everything, I have had to block their number and emails because no matter how many times I “unsubscribe” seems I end up back on some call/ email list.

More than an inconvenience than anything I filled out the info online got to my 8am appointment early sat in the parking lot. For them to tell me that the same insurance I used to fill out for the appointment they don’t take. Just uneventful and a waste of time. So be aware if you have insurance with UH they won’t take you

I randomly chose this practice because it was close to home and I’m glad I did. I was taken back to a room right on time and the front desk people were very nice. My appointment was with N. Becker, NP. She was very professional but personal and knowledgeable. I had labs drawn and I am not the easiest stick at times and bruise horribly but the young lady that drew my labs was great. I literally didn’t feel a thing, she did not blow my vein and I had no bruising. I would recommend this practice for your general medical care and more.

Met with Dr. Sanjana today for first time and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Did full work up and even more. Scheduled for next week for follow up. I was interviewing him to be my doctor which is what I would recommend all to do. Interview was short however because I knew in the first few minutes I found my doctor. Thanks

I'm a new patient, but if my initial experience is indicative of what my future experiences will be like, I'll be pleased with this clinic! Maya did my initial temp/blood pressure, etc., and she was lovely! Immediately upon entering the exam room, Kylie apologized for being late and proceeded to listen and answer my questions, and she provided suggestions as to how to proceed. I never felt rushed or unimportant!!! See y'all in about a month for another evaluation and update!!!! Front desk staff was also excellent!!!

After a year of going here, I can say I’ve never met a doctor, I guess when you schedule an appointment you have to specifically ask for a doctor 🤔? However, I have met some pretty knowledgeable nurse practitioners But it Would be nice to meet a doctor at least once. Also, for certain prescriptions this place wants to drug test every other month. Now I’ve talked to other doctors and this is something that is not required by DEA or whatever their excuse is. I also cannot find a state bill or law saying they have to a mandatory drug test every other month either! Yea, there is guidelines I found but no set rule saying they have to drug test every other month. Are they really that curious to drug test you every other month or do they just want that 30.00 lab fee and some extra profit for that cheap plastic cup drug test they give you? Basically I’m paying my plan visit deductible and a lab fee every other month for a refill. I see a new clinic now and it’s virtual meetings for the same prescription, no longer feel like I’m checking into a rehab for a sample every other month (unless they expect I’m on other drugs) and best of all, no 30.00 to pay every other month (saves me 180.00 for the year 🙌) ! Also, odd I always hear someone debating a bill at this clinic. Several times people in the lobby are accusing this clinic of charging for cover benefits, I did find that odd.

I had gone without a doctor for quite some time, and had no idea where to start. Castle Hills Family Practice made it extremely easy for me to get an appointment on short notice, provided excellent, welcoming service, and all extremely affordable even for someone as broke as me. I'm confident they are my new primary care provider and I honestly look forward to my next visit!

I've been a patient at CHFP for years. I needed to be seen urgently and randomly scheduled an appointment with N.Becker, NP. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. From the moment she entered the room I felt a sense of comfort. My appointment didn't feel rushed and she explained everything step by step and sent all my referrals in a timely manner. Thank you!
