Pros: Beautiful and very spacious library. Cons: It was my first time going, and I did explain it to the woman attending me. My husband came prior to get a library card for my children. She was younger looking, she was very cold and not very polite to me as she was with others that were ahead of me. This encounter is reflected on my review. If I had had a better encounter I would have definitely given a 5 star review.

Very good library, I went in to renew my card and get a book. The library is well laid out and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are electronic checkouts for people in a hurry. They have a craft area, but I haven't had a chance to check it out, but it looks interesting.

overall a very broad selection of literature but i felt as if the library wasnt so humble, they had more shelves than books and offered shop equipment such as a drill press which is interesting but also weird for a library. my biggest issue is the fact that the study rooms in a public library are not public but actually by reservation. we were using a study room to write some school papers and were asked to leave which is fine because that is policy but the staff seemed to not have any sympathy for the situation and made us feel overwhelmingly unwelcome, so we went to the hurst library where we could use a publicly accessible study room and finish the papers we needed to write.

This library is great! The makerspace has an impressive amount of machines/tools for creative use. I also like to check out the books for sale at the front to add to my collection. They have a cool new thing where you submit a form online with what kind of genres you like and the librarians will personally pick out 4-5 books and you collect them in a paper bag and check them all out at once. I thought it was so neat! One note that I would make is more furniture and more comfortable furniture as some areas feel very wide open and it can be hard to find a place to hang out.

After looking at their calendar online I brought the 1-yr-old baby girl I Nanny to one of their weekly activities… I got there and was told that the children have to be registered in order to attend. It doesn’t specify that on the “event details” from the calendar after clicking the event to view it. That tiny detail added would be very helpful instead of us showing up and being informed of this. The staff was nice and allowed us to stay, but it felt off being there… all the other libraries allow people to just come and that’s very convenient.

Great library! It is a good place to get the kids interested in books and reading 😃. They have an awesome selection of books and a little play area for smaller kids. I like to come by myself as well since it is a very quiet and clean place for me to relax and do my reading! 📚❤️

Just went in to renew my card, Looks like they have a large audible selection, but I prefer the downloads using the Libby app so I don't have to mess with CDs

I love this library! It's a beautiful facility, easy to get to with plenty of parking. But the best things about it are inside. They offer a phenomenal selection of materials for a small-city library: not only books, but CD's, DVD's, and periodicals for grown-ups, a section for teens, and a wonderful children's collection. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can either find it for you at another library in the area or add it to their own inventory. In truth, however, the best thing about this library is the courteous, helpful staff. I visit often and highly recommend you do, too.
