Saw the sign on the highway and stopped in for an unplanned visit. I was delighted to find a nature center, trails and all on a beautiful Adirondack lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will be back again to spend a few hours on the property.

Wonderful welcome center with beautiful taxidermy of local animals, rock samples and an educational room with bird viewing area. Friendly staff answer questions and restrooms are on site. Maps of surrounding trails available including a short, quick hike to view a nearby pristine lake. Great for visitors and Adirondack residents!

The Adirondack Interpertive center is a really great place. There are different option here for long or short hikes. There is also a very nice beach for putting in a canoe. The lake is gorgeous, you can come around or head down stream from rich lake to lake Harris. They also have great programs here, check the website for times. Thank you!!!!!

Easy trails along two lakes, surrounded by beautiful pine trees, birches, birds singing, and butterflies (in summer). Grest place to bring your young kids to enjoy nature. Not far from Long Lake.

Beautiful, well-maintained loop trails take one through old growth forest, along lakes, streams, brooks, marshland, and other wetlands. The interpretive center has interesting exhibits and friendly, informative staff and interns. I greatly value the work being done at this SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry campus.

Great place for i individuals, families, kids, and for strolling a trail path that is ease, while not learning from staff that may be giving a small talk on the wildlife or terrain or vegetation.
