First time visiting and definitely returning! The book selection is unreal and the whole place feels like something out of a movie. Employees were really helpful and knowledgeable; I even got a book and bookmark for free as part of my pickup order! Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

What a bookstore. I was travelling through cincinatti and saw this book store and had to go in. The art section of second hand books is amazing I could've bought the whole section. Good prices and wide selection on artists. I chatted with the owner the bookstore has been there for 83 years...started by his parents. You could spend hours here.

Can't overstate the wow factor of this place! I couldn't begin to estimate how many used books they have on their four floors. They have a lot of the classics and to-be-expected fiction, as well as a robust nonfiction section (history, religion, cookbooks, etc). They also have a collection of historical maps in great condition.

This is one of the most incredible book stores I have ever seen. Words will not do it justice - go, and give yourself time to explore all four(!) floors. Very kind man and family have owned this business for decades and operate it with love. Truly a magical place.

I absolutely adored this 83 year old bookstore. It was charming, well organized, and I enjoyed chatting with the owners. Great poetry and cooking selection.

By far the coolest book store I’ve been in. TONS of books and staff is friendly. Great prices, a lot of books on sale for $1. Was also really cool to see old newspapers and National Geographic’s. I’ll be back!

I come up to Cincinnati once a year to visit family and this is without a doubt the one place I have to go while here. Spending a few hours browsing their shelves is just good for the soul. Their selection of used books is full of rare/hard to find gems. You never know what you'll find. The folks that run the store are incredibly nice as well. Visiting bookstores is a passion of mine and The Ohio Book store is one of the absolute best.

If you at all enjoy books this is a must!! So much to choose from and amazing rare books too. Stood the test of time for 60+ years!
