I was there on 10/10/23 ER for many hours The waiting room was packed it was a total chaos. After waiting for hours I asked and I was told my waiting time was unpredictable Total disorganization I left home sick without been helped Next day by doctor order I returned same of the same my information was collected outside in front of other patient and other people the same was than to other After 3hours and after request by my primary doctor orders a nurce practitioner came to the lobby WR and told me doctor order CT scan and lab X-ray but all technician were busy After another hour someone came out with a rolling computer to check my id and insurance and collect $50.00 from the night before that I had left without been seen and $50.00 for the present I told her it was ok to bill me for one time and she said I will be bill 100.00 will see Finally they call 5 patient name including me We walked till we got to these waiting place full of patient seating there with IV on and others getting medication everyone there next to each other I finally was called to get lab and then IV my IV bag was place on the same pole of a man next to me I could try to go to the bad room I felt I was on a third country What a horrible experience I’m horrified to see what Babtist hospital has become really unacceptable Six people deserve better

I was admitted on Friday and was given Dr. Ginarte ? this doctor did not even come in to see me. I had Covid and needed dialysis. I also needed my anxiety medication and had to speak to the head nurse in regards to that. The next day she came in and barely spoke to me as well, she still didn’t have my medications correct all it takes is a moment to calm somebody down to speak to them in regards to their care so that they could feel better. This is the second time I’ve gone through this with her. Also, but on another note. My CP was awesome. She made the whole stay bearable, and her beautiful spirit made me get through this. She really is a beautiful person.( Charlanda Scriben I truly believe you having employees like her really make this place feel more personal than having doctors I don’t even talk thank you for hiring her and making my time here. I had a serious stabbing pain in my lower back left flank, and had it no matter what I was doing the minimum move or just doing my bed that was causing it and when hit was taking my breath away literally I couldn’t breath. I decided to go to the ER in Homestead and service was fast, to the point, at every station. Very professional and caring. RN Bobby Colon ran the extra mile in Patient Care showing that he truly cared about my health concerns. He also engaged into a conversation about other topics short but good also showing that he definitely is also a people like person. CT Scan technician also did a great job and she is bilingual. A round of applause for the whole ER department at Homestead facility.

For the first time in a long time we were in and out no more then 40 mins my son had have some snitches put in his foot. The Dr was super patience pleasant and nice.. the team he had was very helpful and a great of assistance to us.

Yesterday I was in their facilities for the second time, I am pregnant and I had to wait for them to start treating me for approximately 4 hours. After that, in the room where they attend to emergencies, they keep you sitting in normal chairs for approximately 6, they did a PCR that It didn't work until 10 p.m. because a machine had supposedly broken. In the end they told me that it was influenza and they could only give me medicine and serum. And the first time I went it was exactly the same between at 10am and I left at midnight, it seems to me a lack of respect and priority for pregnant women.

I've been to this hospital several times over the years. During the Covid pandemic, it was a disaster and after waiting over 8 hours in the ER in 2021, I stayed away. But in 2023, I was having chest pain and palpitations, so I took the chance and went there (Homestead Hospital is very near my house). What a difference! It was cleaner, more efficient and the staff was very professional yet friendly. I returned again a few days ago, this time for loewer abdominal pain. While I did have to wait a couple of hours to see a doctor, once more the hospital was better organized and the staff friendly, but professional. I was taken to a room in the ED that had its own bathroom and the nurse, Naija, was very attentive and thorough. I was there for about 8 hours, but for good reason. I would definitely recommend Homestead Hospital to anyone seeking good, prompt medical care.

I don’t remember everyone’s name but they were all great. The first person was funny and friendly and made us relaxed the registration person was quick and efficient. The first RN, Steven I think his name was, was very good, friendly warm and welcoming and made us relaxed! Then our final nurse, Katherine, was efficient , friendly and everything a nurse in an emergency room should be.

I was expecting a better visit. The physician did not send my prescription to my pharmacy I don't know what was going on with that. I had a better experience in the past with my child with this hospital. They need to do better with how long they have patients waiting. Sitting there for at least four hours was exhausting then the next day I go to pharmacy to get my prescription they said the hospital didn't send it over. The hospital was clean the emergency staff was polite at the front desk. Carlos the guy I spoke to on the phone today hung up on me when I needed the doctor to send the prescription over to my pharmacy. .

The er was excellent. Nurse Dania and Leo did their best at keeping me comfortable while getting various tests. Dr Gonzalez was great at treating me and releasing me for recurring pneumonia. Thanks to all the staff at Baptist Health.

I have to say that my experience in this hospital was amazing. Everyone from the nurses in the ER, the doctors and the nurses and doctors in the 5th floor when I was admitted where all so great, also the surgeons that did my surgery were great. Everything was so great, and this is my second time going to this hospital and both times have been great everyone is super nice and the nurses are awesome they’re always very attentive and come right away to the room when you press that button and they’re always checking up on the patients. I have to say everyone was great and it made my surgery experience so much better than I thought it was going to be! The room was also super clean and the bed was so nice, and the food was really great as well! Thank you so much!

To start off, the attention was great, time to get helped was actually right away as i got checked in, each step of the way they all were nice, friendly and professional. The best was my doctor, and room Nurse. Great attention, knowledgeable and looked out for my best interest.
