My brother was ranting about how good the bean n cheese burritos were. And my sister was like let's go we hungry. We just got back for a trip to Mexico because our father passed. And we were hungry we didn't really eat in Mexico much. So he goes on about how the make their beans. He said even when you reheat them they taste good. So when I got home I ate my Carne asada and it was the best burrito I had. Next day after work I have 2 bean n cheese and I text my brother. These are the best burritos I have ever had. Reminds me of how my family made the beans. Thanks. I would definitely drive 2 and half hours there.

LOVE this place! Excellent food, good prices, great fast service, and always very clean. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they opened up their salsa bar again. Highly recommend if you are in Yuma.

Mr. G’s is a must visit in Yuma and was the first Mexican food that I had when I started visiting Yuma years ago. I tried a breakfast burrito for the first time on my recent visit. The burrito was good but small. I will always keep Mr. G’s in the mix for lunch & dinner but prefer a couple other spots for great breakfast burritos (Jector’s or Mr. Burros).

The BEST in YUMA, locally family owned. I've be coming here since childhood! They're DELICIOUS. Their signature burrito is the bean & cheese, beef rolled flautas and their salsa... 🤤🙌🏼💯 Their agua frescas are so good! I recommend their burrito and their chorizo, egg & papa burrito as well!

Hits the spot! Have always enjoyed stopping here en route between AZ and CA, and it's looking better than ever – fun lighting, modern interior, vibrant paint, and a totally clean, inviting space (including the bathrooms). On top of all that, the food is good, and the service is reliable — sometimes takes a few minutes, but fresh-cooked is always worth it. An easygoing lunch break every time!

Sister recommended this place while I was in town for business & this place does not disappoint. Rolled tacos were good. Comparable to those famous San Diego style rolled tacos. The carne asada taco salad could be elevated a little bit instead being a standard kind of side salad. The house dressing saved the day with this dish. The Bean & Cheese burrito enchilada style with the green chili smacked! Green Chili had bits of slow cooked beef. Peppers were roasted before they made the sauce. Omg moment. The smell of the food when I ate was so decadent for Mexican food. I have no other way to explain it. The taste put it all over the top. More additional stars could be added.

This is a local favorite. They are known for their bean and cheese burritos and rolled tacos. Locals that have moved crave this place after leaving, will have it mailed to them and or will pick it up to eat and take home when driving through. It is a quick hop off the freeway and has a drive through now. Definitely a yummy but not fancy place to eat.

Local icon. If you're ever passing through Yuma it's a must stop. Quick stop off I-8. Their prices have doubled since covid but you still get a lot for your dollar. Always made fresh to order & they get the orders out fast! I make it here at least once when I get to town, I live in Phoenix.

Hands down the best breakfast burrito of my life. We had this for breakfast on our way out of town, my fiance grew up in Yuma so said I had to try it. We were only there one night and I cannot wait to go back for more. Absolutely amazing and I have to say even if you only get breakfast you have to give them a try!

Mr G's is a Yuma institution, serving fresh Mexican food. Fresh tortillas, flavorful salsa, Tacos, Burritos, combination plates. The menu is varied, freshly prepared, soft drinks as well as beer and margaritas. The restaurant is more than just a 'drive-in.' The interior is spotless, colorful, tastefully decorated with an assortment of ecclectic art (including unique industrial-theme fixtures), music, and neon lighting. The food will not disappoint - it is fresh, delicious, and consistently good. My favorites are the Machaca and egg burrito, Carne asada burrito, and Bean, rice and cheese burrito (enjoy these with Mr G's salsa). The 1/3 pound "G" Burger is also a great choice. Down the hall from the dining room, toward the restrooms is an aerial photograph of Yuma, Arizona 'back in the day.' Over the years, the Yuma community and 'Mr G's' have had a long, and mutually beneficial relationship. The reason is fresh, good quality Mexican food.

First time back since 2005 my freshman year at Yuma high! I moved to the Bay Area. I’d always get a bean and Cheese burrito after school or during band practice Friday nights. Tastes the same the machaca burrito is also fire. Don’t forget the red salsa.

I’ve been eating here for over 30 years. Still the same great food. Definitely not the same building. Rolled tacos are a favorite but I always get a bean and rice burrito because the flour tortillas are great.

Been coming here since the 80's!!! Such great tasting food! Top favorites, fresh rolled tacos, creamy refried beans are delicious and their salsa is my favorite drinkable!

The food was good and tasty, but expensive. I think you pay for their building's looks and the amount of sauce and napkins you're getting. It's great that you can buy their homemade flour or corn tortillas that comes in different sizes as well.

I used to go here when I was a kid while back and the food still tastes exactly the same as it did those many years ago delicious the only thing of course prices have gone up but that's understandable

Great place to eat! If you like plain bean burritos with absolutely NO cheese and mostly all tortilla that isn't even the slightest bit cooked. Someone said something about the prices going up? Hell I wouldn't mind paying ANY amount of money for a bean AND cheese burrito if they would cook it. Gotta admit though, the tacos make up for it.

I came here for the first time during the pandemic in 2020 and had one of the best, if not THE best carne asada quesadillas I've ever had. I went back today and it was one of the lousiest quesadillas I've ever had. The meat was dry and there was hardly any cheese at all on it. Really disappointed as we've been looking forward to stopping here again on the way to San Diego.

The food is good and the establishment has been around forever. I would say I believe it's overpriced for the portion sizes, especially the taquitos.

I wish they had one in Phoenix. The best bean and cheese burrito comes from here, and Chile 🌶

Service is great! Atmosphere and design are awesome! Very clean and spotless bathrooms. The bean and cheese burritos are very good, the horchata is the worst I’ve ever had in my 25 years of life lol. The chips are burnt and just gross, the salsa is like water with food coloring. The rolled tacos tasted like they were sitting for 2 hours. I will definitely try it again and hopefully change my review.

Great place to stop on your way to San Diego. Their rolled tacos are the best road trip eats. They are part of Yuma's history. If you are ever in Yuma make sure you stop and check it out.
